Papakea G301 is a 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom beautifully decorated “Hawaiian Style” condo that sleeps up to 4 guests. Enjoy ocean views from your private lanai. This condo offers an updated, fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, perfect for dining in-house. Stay cool with a window A/C in the main living room area, and ceiling fans throughout. Entertainment includes TV in the living room and bedroom equipped with cable and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the condo.
The bedroom features a King size bed as well as a TV. In the living room, you will find a Queen size sleeper sofa for additional guests. This condo also has a private washer and dryer for added convenience.
There are beautiful beaches within walking distance. Enjoy swimming, snorkeling, turtle spotting, boogie boarding, paddle boarding, and whale watching (during whale season) from this ultimate Maui property. Each evening, tiki torches light up the grounds for an exquisite Hawaiian tropical ambiance.
Papakea Resort offers lush tropical landscaping, koi lagoon ponds, oceanfront saltwater pools, hot tubs, shuffleboards, golf greens, pickleball, and tennis courts! Great view of the ocean from the lanai! We were within walking distance to the beach, we got to see the exquisite landscape of the complex. Comfortable bed and sleeper sofa. The kitchen had everything we needed. Very appealing rental.

We had an amazing time staying in West Maui and staying at this room at the Papakea was perfect. My husband and I brought our 5 and 3 year old children and having a full kitchen and a washer/dryer was so great! We love that the room came with beach toys and beach gear also. We loved the pool and the koi pond and really liked that this resort was on the smaller side compared to many others around - there was always space in the pool and to do all of the activities. Everything was very nice and clean, all of the staff were so nice, and My Perfect Stays had great communication. Our only recommendation would be that it would be nice to have a cooler in the room to take snacks/drinks to the pool or beach. Overall, our stay was absolutely perfect!

Very walkable location in medium sized resort. There are beaches, restaurants, and stores all nearby. The resort is clean and had many amenities. Had a minor issue at check-in and the company responded promptly to my concern. Highly recommended!

Great apartment to stay in while visiting Maui. The decor and furnishings are modern and in great condition. The kitchen was very well equipped. The ocean view was fantastic. Great location to visit the Lahaina area or relax in the apartment and the beaches within walking distance. Had a minor issue at check-in and the company responded promptly to my concern. This is a great family resort, especially if you are traveling with multiple larger families. It is a larger resort with beautifully kept and maintained gardens and grounds. Not on sandy beach, but can walk next door to to beach front. Definitely stroller and ADA-friendly. Our view was nice, but not a direct view of ocean, but of the koi pond & fountain. Fountain never turns off, so be prepared for the white noise 24/7. The place was a little dusty, esp bedroom. The bathroom is dated (could benefit from remodel) & furniture is old and needs to be updated. Chairs, seating & bed uncomfortable to sit/sleep on. The going rate is average to a bit higher, bc they offer amenities at resort, plus $17/per day amenity fee so be prepared to pay for this on-top of AIRBNB fee. Resort could offer more activities. It did feel a bit crowded bc so many families, esp at pool area. Pool area & stairwells could benefit from more night lighting. Check-in had carts for luggage. Overall good stay.

Great location. Great people. Only drawback was the unit seemed very dated. Furniture was extremely uncomfortable (bed was good). You don’t go to Maui to sit in your condo but after a long day it would be nice to relax in a comfortable chair.

The unit is well appointed but could use some updating, if you don’t mind that kind of thing then it’s not an issue at all. The bed is extremely comfortable and the kitchen is in great condition. The nice thing about the unit is it comes with boogie boards, beach chairs and beach towels. We really enjoyed overlooking the Koi pond while also having a view of the ocean.

We loved the child-friendly ambience with many multi-generation families vacationing together. Location is excellent--we did not have a car and walked or used the public buses to get to nearby beaches and shopping. Daily activities of yoga, swimmercise, and mai tai party with hula/guitar very fun.

There are a few items that need attention: on/off switch on lamp closest to sliding door doesn't work; shower floor is slippery and needs friction tape. Kitchen needs better bottle opener, additional normal wineglasses, batteries for fan in LR. Also none of the remotes' volume control functioned--had to be done manually. Also, can you add recycle containers near the trash--we used the ones in the lanai. These are all minor things and did not detract from our rating. The 4 stars for value is because there is no sand beach, but of course nothing to be done about that.

We loved our stay at Papakea G301. It was the perfect location. Loved sitting on the lanai and watching the fish swim in the pond below and looking out towards the ocean. Property was very well-kept and in close proximity to everything. Also loved the beach gear available in the room. I would highly recommend!

The Condo was perfect for my husband and I!!! It had everything we needed. The swim towels and beach chairs were an excellent touch. The view from the lanai was beautiful. We had a view of the water, the pool and the grounds. We used the putting ground, as well as the pickle ball courts. My favorite past time though was sitting in a lawn chair overlooking the water near the pool. Highly recommend this condo/resort!!

It was great having a condo for our stay with a full kitchen and washer and dryer. Location and accommodations were good. Grateful for the beach chair, towels and cooler. We were not aware of the additional $17/day fee but maybe missed this information in the listing. The location was good but I didn’t like the fountain outside our balcony. I preferred to sleep with the windows/sliding door open to enjoy the fresh air and listen to the ocean, but at times had to close the sliding door because the fountain was too noisy. We enjoyed the facilities at the resort as well, in the evenings.

Where can I even start. The photos do not I repeat Do NOT do this place justice at all! This place is AMAZING! It was just what we all needed. The facility, the condo we were in, the location. All to the T. I wouldn’t want to ruin the experience for you all but here’s a couple of things to help you out. The facility itself wow everyone is sooooo nice, helpful, and accommodating. Wen you arrive you do have to pay facility fees. That are for the facility it’s $17.00 a day the faculty has more than one pool more than one jacuzzi that are really wide and big, tennis, koi ponds, beach, golf, putter something. The market is walking distance from the condo as well as a moped rental, liquor store that has food and any other thing you might need like souvenirs, towels, etc it’s called the ABC store. There is a snorkeling store, a pizza, Hawaiian bbq, dole, another souvenir store and so much more. The condo it’s self now we’re do I begin it was amazing! It has AC which was super important to me. A balcony that somehow set the tone for everything else it’s were you gaze upon many sunrises and sunsets. It is equipped with towels, washer, dryer, Netflix, dishwasher, toaster, microwave, coffee maker, and so much more the equip you with thing to be able to use the multiple, several bbq grills they have outside by the pool, I mean I can go on, and on. The complimentary gift as well was truly appreciated I brought it all the way back to Los Angeles. It was very sweet that the y also gave us dish soap, toilet paper, dryer sheets, washer pods, dishwasher tabs, I mean like I said I can keep on going. The location has everything you are one street off the main highway. We also kept walking and ate at the restaurant at the other condo which was also great. The beach wow the beach is exclusive and the water is beautiful so clear, filled with a coral reef , there were so many rainbows. I would message my host and he would respond fast. I hope this helps you figure it out that you most definitely need to book. I will most definitely be here again if in Maui thank you so very much!

Pleasant resort with nice location

Papakea is a very pleasant resort with an oceanfront but no beach. It is very close to shops and various eateries including food trucks and a restaurant in the resort next door. It has pretty grounds and is well looked-after. The apartment is mostly comfortable with a nice view over the central landscaped area. Our one complaint would be that the bed is much too soft with a thick foam mattress topper which makes you quite hot and is not very comfortable. Otherwise, we had a great stay at Papakea.

Nice clean unit with small ocean view. Never heard any neighbors. Discovered the games/videos etc in the livingroom armoire on the last day - oops! Unit has a shower with a short tub so soaking wouldn't be an option for adults. Kitchen fully stocked with utensils/cookware. Appreciated the washer/dryer. Elevator in center of building. Two identical pools and we enjoyed the covered pavilion area for sunsets and some downtime. Thank you!

The Maui Experience

My Partner was wowed by the condo due to the close proximity to the waterfront and she dreamed that it would be just like this. It was very convenient to have the laundry and kitchen in the unit. And for me it was a treat not to have to go to a timeshare update meeting. The neighbors in the surrounding areas were nice and the property is picturesque. We had a great experience!

This was the cutest and coziest stay in this amenity-filled resort. It looks exactly like the pictures and truly comes with so much - we were even greeted with a little care package left on the dining table! Not only that, but there are beach towels, beach chairs, cards, dominoes, etc for your use as well and that’s only within the unit! The resort itself has two pools, two jacuzzi’s, and two putting greens all facing the ocean. The view of the unit itself also faces the koi pond and ocean which was absolutely beautiful to wake up to every morning. The only downside is it’s a little farther away from Whaler’s Village and Front St then a lot of the other resorts if you don’t have a rental car, but it makes up for it with the grocery store and other little small shops and restaurants right across the street. I would 100% recommend this Airbnb to anyone staying on the west side of Maui!

We had a wonderful time here. Every morning I woke up early and would watch the koi in the pond right below the balcony. They have everything thing you need right in the condo. The kitchen is fully stocked and there’s beach chairs and fins to borrow so you don't have to rent them. The location is perfect. Just a short drive to the beach and a short walk from food trucks and the grocery store. We will definitely keep this condo in mind if we get to take another trip anytime soon!

Grounds were beautiful, ocean view was great. Very family friendly property with great proximity to restaurants and shopping. Condo was stocked with everything you need for a stress free vacation from beach chairs to cooking spices and much more! We had such a great time and can’t wait to go back!

The condo had everything that you needed and great location especially if you don't have a vehicle. It was easy to walk to grocery store, restaurants including takeout options (Cruzin Cafe great for quick coffee/breakfast), and short uber/lyft to central Lahaina. The condo and facilities were very well maintained and clean. The sunsets from the lanai or chairs by the ocean front were beautiful too. We would definitely stay again and recommend it to others.

The condo was fully furnished and had everything we needed for our Maui vacation. It's also conveniently located near great beaches, restaurants, a grocery store, and a convenience store/gas station (for those times you need a quick snack or forgot to bring something). I'd highly recommend staying here!

We love coming to Papakea. The location is great, grounds are always kept beautiful. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Our unit was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was well stocked in dishes except we had to ask for bowls which were delivered right away. Great response from My Perfect Stays staff. The only thing that I would say that needed attention is in the bathroom. The shower knob needs replaced, very hard to use. DT Flemming beach is awesome for boogie boarding. Best dinner we had was at the Sea House at Napili Bay, amazing view and great food, need to make reservations well in advance tho. Java Jazz is right across the street and has delicious pasta and breakfast.

Family oriented, short-term vacation rental community. The location is great for getting to north and west Maui. We recommend checking out Honolua bay and Kapalua bay and mala pier for snorkeling. All are 10 minutes away. Lots of parking and the unit had some nice additional amenities such as beach chairs and a cooler for us to use. Highly recommend this place! Great view from the lanai and the in unit washer dryer and dish washer came in handy!

we had a wonderful time. The kitchen was well stocked with all the cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc you would need. I loved sitting out on the deck every morning and could see and hear the ocean. the hosts were very responsive and when we had problem with the AC they had a maintenance person there within 30 minutes to fix it. they also had nice touches with beach towels, umbrella and chairs as well as a small cooler. We spent a lot of time at the pool which was neat and clean. It is a very quick walk to a nice beach for sunning or playing in the waves. they took guest safety very seriously. we will be back for sure.
