The Hono Kai Ma'alaea is just steps from Maui’s Sugar Beach and located in central Maui. Enjoy your morning coffee on your private lanai with tropical garden views and tranquility. Watch whales breaching from the resort’s oceanfront pool during our winter months and turtles feeding year-round!
Hono Kai C8 is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo that has a single window A/C in the upstairs loft bedroom. C8 is located on the third floor with close proximity to the ocean and pool. *Please note that this property does not have an elevator.
The fully equipped kitchen is well stocked and convenient for making meals in-house. This condo accommodates up to 6 guests with a queen size bed in both bedrooms and a queen size sleeper sofa in the main living area. The owners have provided an air mattress for the sleeper sofa found attached to the frame that can be blown up using a remote blower. The master bedroom is separated from the main living area with lovely Hawaiian style plantation shutters. Both bathrooms have a tub/shower combo.
My Perfect Stays provides a complimentary starter kit of dish soap, laundry soap and dryer sheets, complimentary Papaya Noni shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and body soap. In addition, each guest will be provided a beach towel and beach chair to use during their stay, plus a cooler!
Hono Kai provides an on-site coin-operated laundry room and has no resort or parking fees. Hono Kai is located at Ma'alaea Bay, near many attractions, shops, and restaurants. Walk to Maui Ocean Center (Aquarium), take a sunset sail or whale watching tour from the nearby harbor, play miniature golf and more at Maui Golf & Sports Park, or shop at the Maui Harbor Shops. Ma'alaea is located in central Maui, bringing you closer to many excursions such as Hana or Haleakala.

Standard Cancellation Policy:
If cancellation notice is received 30 or more days prior to the check-in date, a 100% refund will be refunded within 5-7 business days from receipt of written cancellation.
If cancellation notice is received at least 14 days prior to the check-in date, 50% of the booking will be refunded within 5-7 business days from receipt of written cancellation.
For a cancellation notice received after 14 days prior to the check-in date, a refund will not be issued other than the departure cleaning fee.
