We had a wonderful vacation with friends! It was easy to book two condos next to each other which was super convenient and fun….the view from this unit includes the lovely pool area and the ocean. The location was perfect and close to lots of good snorkeling areas, restaurants and groceries. The unit was well stocked and appointed and I really appreciated the binder with instructions. We also really loved the lanai with all of the beach equipment we could need! Will definitely stay here again!! Mahalo!

Very restful with beautiful view from the apartment and by the pool. We were able to manage without a rental car by walking to the store and taking the lical bus for a day in Lahaina town.

Our stay at Hale Ono Loa exceeded our expectations for our honeymoon. The place actually stayed a pretty decent temperature for sleeping even without A/C. Though the condo is small, the layout is well done and makes the most of the space. The best part was the lanai/balcony with a full table for eating breakfast in the morning, or lounging and reading a book overlooking distant peaks at twilight. The view was gorgeous. Seeing and hearing the waves was our favorite. We could see distant whales in the mornings as well. Even though our trip had some dangerous weather for 3 days of our stay, we were still able to see and enjoy Maui and the ocean from the condo. The pool is also nice with an area for grilling. This area of west Maui was pretty quiet and we liked that. There are beach chairs and boogie boards out in the closet on the lanai as well and my perfect stays did a great job of accommodating us, even bringing us a fan for white noise/cooling. Thanks for a great stay in Maui. Would stay again.

Condo is well located with everything you could possibly need including beach chairs, cooler etc. Turtles out the front of complex was a real treat. Many amenities within walking distance, but to enjoy what Maui has to offer, having a car is a must !

A beautiful unit that is even better in person. The lanai is large and perfect to sip coffee on or watch the sunset. The ocean view was spectacular. You can hear the waves at night if you keep the back door open. Since there is no air conditioning, I would highly recommend having the windows open all day, even when it is hotter outside, because the high windows are designed to release hot air that rises, while the fans push cold air down. When you’re in the unit, keep both the front door and back door open with the screen doors closed for a constant, cool breeze. No complaints at all as long as the doors are open. Sleeping was warmer than I would’ve liked, but it was fine with the back door half-open. The screen door does not lock, but you’re on the 2nd level. No bugs came in. The bedroom in the unit can be separated by a white, sliding door that isn’t a real door that would block sound. I wouldn’t recommend closing it because that closes you off to the outdoor breeze. For this reason, I would recommend this unit for 1-2 people such as a single or couple. It could get cozy with more than 2, though possible. I wouldn’t be able to sleep with that door closed, personally. The unit has a pool, no hot tub, and the ocean steps from the unit. However, more accessible beaches with sand are just walking distance or a short drive away. We walked 5 mins to a beautiful beach and drove 10-15 to find dozens more beaches. The Nakelele Blow Hole is about 15 mins away also. The unit has a stove, oven, fridge, freezer, built in ice maker, microwave, coffee maker, and any kitchen utensil or glassware you could need. They have tons of spices, some tea, salt and pepper, sugar, coffee filters, non stick spray, olive oil, and extra beach towels. A laundry unit nearby on the same floor. They are kind enough to provide a small amount of shampoo, conditioner, dishwashing detergent, and laundry detergent. I couldn’t think of anything I would need that wasn’t provided. Overall, extremely pleased and would definitely stay here again! For breakfast I’d recommend Kiheii Caffe Lahaina!

This was a great property for our 12 day stay. Staying on the second floor gave a fantastic view of the pool and ocean…we spent many mornings and evenings on our balcony enjoying the sound of the waves. The unit did not have A/C, but besides our first night when we arrived (the unit was closed up so hot and stuffy), the trade winds and ceiling fans kept us nice and cool. The unit was a little dirty when we arrived (grit on the floor and balcony) but I ran a broom quick to clear it up. The fridge did not close easily, and the towel rack was pulling away from the wall, but after sending an email to the property manager about these issues, we received quick responses. We thought the unit was a one bedroom, however, only sliding slat doors separate the main living area from the bedroom. Not a con, but something that should be noted. The complex was close to many beaches, and a 10-15 minute drive to Lahaina. The beach at the unit was accessible…down the stairs and into the water! For a calmer beach, we simply walked about 30 seconds to a small sandy area. Lots of sea turtles feeding along the rock wall and ocean break! Pool was great, and the top deck viewing area was fantastic for watching sunsets every evening. Property is very well maintained. Only issue we had were the early risers outside before 6 am talking loudly. Bed and pullout couch were comfortable…we slept great! Unit was well stocked with kitchen items. Had beach towels and bathroom towels aplenty. Even some beach toys for the kids (which we didn’t use). Laundry room was just down from our unit…takes quarters only and no change machine onsite, so bring money! Laundry facilities were great and even had a library! Overall, I would stay here again. Communication was great, and unit was wonderful for our stay.

Loved the Complex

My daughter and I loved the complex, pool and beach access. Good location and the pool was extremely well maintained and a great spot to hang out. Unit cools off quickly when there's a breeze if you leave the doors open (screen door at the front has a deadbolt). Not a huge fan of massive cleaning fees but as I was staying for 7 nights it all balanced out, Im sure the cleaner isn't getting 600 plus bucks and you still have to do the normal routine as far as carry your garbage and recycling out. Overall a great place to stay and the outfit booking did a great job and when asked brought me a fan.

The property is good, the location is very convenient, parking is free, I love the patio on the balcony with great view. We always had breakfast outside. The kitchen is small but we had everything what we needed. I would recommend to upgrade the futon in the living room, it is good for one person, otherwise it is too soft for two people. Overall, we are satisfied with our choice, I would definitely come back.
