Hale Mahina A102 Description

Air Conditioning

Hale Mahina Resort is an oceanfront property, and A102 is a convenient ground-floor one-bedroom, one-bathroom condo, making it easy to unload groceries, luggage, and beach gear. This unit does not have air conditioning; however, guests can enjoy natural island breezes throughout the condo.

The master bedroom features a comfortable king-size bed with bamboo sliding doors for privacy. The bathroom includes a walk-in shower and an in-unit washer and dryer for added convenience during your stay.

Enjoy direct oceanfront views from the spacious private lanai, as well as from the living room, kitchen, and dining area. The open-concept living space features dark hardwood floors and a sofa sleeper, providing additional sleeping accommodations for family or friends.

The well-appointed kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances and everything needed to prepare meals during your stay. Whether you're enjoying your morning coffee on the lanai or taking in the ocean views, this oceanfront condo offers a comfortable setting for your Maui vacation.

Hale Mahina Resort is a oceanfront property, and beach conditions vary seasonally due to natural ocean and coastal changes. Portions of the oceanfront lawn may be temporarily restricted for guest safety due to ongoing maintenance or improvements.

Hale Mahina Resort enforces a strict maximum occupancy policy. Please note all guests over the age of 2 years old is counted as a guest. This resort offers complimentary parking and does not charge a resort fee.

Please Note: The Hale Mahina pool will be temporarily closed for repairs beginning August 3, 2026. The pool is expected to reopen in approximately four weeks to eight weeks, subject to construction progress and weather conditions.

• The Public Beach Access Pathway project is slated to begin Q4 2026. A pathway is being added to the south side of the property abutting the drainage canal running from the street to the landing below the beach. Exact work dates to be determined.

• Pending Seawall and Sink Hole repairs. The AOAO is working with the County of Maui regarding this project. There is no repair schedule at this time. The resort expects to maintain lawn and full beach access throughout all future work phases, however some area may be cordoned off for safety.

Located between Ka'anapali and Kapalua in West Maui, the Hale Mahina has lushly landscaped grounds including palms, hibiscus, plumeria and orchids. It is conveniently located minutes away from the best golf courses, shopping, dining, beaches and the famous historic town of Lahaina. Just steps from the condo, enjoy world class snorkeling or stroll the beach, known for attracting turtles. Refresh in the oceanfront pool, relax in the Jacuzzi, BBQ outdoors, or lounge under the swaying palm trees on the well-manicured oceanfront lawn.

All Reservations are Subject to the Following Occupancy Clause:
When you make your reservation with this condo at Hale Mahina, you agree that you have fully disclosed how many occupants will be traveling in your group. The maximum occupancy is mandatory and there are no exceptions. If you reserve this condo and there are more individuals that are found to be occupying the unit, you will be asked to vacate the property and all deposits are forfeited.

Beautiful terrace with a stunning view of the sea and sunsets. Lush plants provide a great sense of privacy. The apartment is tastefully decorated and very clean. The entire property is thoughtfully designed and well maintained. There's a charming private sandy beach, and you might even spot sea turtles sunbathing or swimming nearby. The snorkeling is enjoyable, with plenty to see. A supermarket is conveniently located nearby, and a private, free parking space is always available. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings!

Million dollar view!

Paradise before your eyes!

When you look out the wall of windows, tropical paradise beckons. A pair of palm trees above a cool lawn on the way to the nearby pool or the white, sandy beach are so inviting. You may even have a visit from the local turtle! But you may never want to leave the lovely lanai where you can slow down to island time and luxuriate in the serenity. A well-appointed kitchen in this very pretty condo will offer you all you need for a relaxing getaway.

Upgrades are Great!

We love this unit! Since our last stay the owners purchased brand new bedroom furniture and upgraded from a queen to king size bed. It is a very comfortable mattress! There is a lot more storage with the new dresser & night stand. The bulky drapes over the lanai windows were removed and replaced with beautiful roller shades which provide both privacy and sun block as needed. The panoramic view of the ocean is remarkable. Lastly, we love the new turtle rug in the front room.

Paradise

Ours was a girl's get-a-way vacation. And it was perfect. One week of true paradise. Right on the beach - listening to the waves crash all day long. The Condo was lovely and decorated with upscale furniture and appointments, without feeling fussy or formal. Just very Hawaiian and fitted with everything we needed. We did laundry mid-week and made a couple dinner meals in the kitchen, as well as every breakfast. The location is superb. An easy 15 minute walk to casual restaurants and a grocery store and 10 minutes by car to lots of restaurants and shops at Kaanapali and more to the north at Napili. We look forward to returning again!

The perfect beach house

Of all the beaches we visited throughout Maui, our Hale Mahina beach was our favorite. We snorkeled right out front and could go out about 100 yards as it was still under 6 feet deep. We had turtles everyday and saw whales almost everyday from our condo. The private beach is magical. The condo is well kept with cute beach decor. A great kitchen with what you need. We bbq'd one night in front of our patio and it was fun. I recommend bringing sound machines to help you drown out noise while you sleep though. The crashing waves at night can get super loud for the sofa sleeper and the bedroom windows face the hallway/street side and that can be noisy at times. Despite not getting the best sleep, I can't imagine a better beach to have private access too. We can wait to come back again. Mahalo Hale Mahina.

Location and amenities cannot be beat! The condo is perfect and was full of everything we needed for our 9 day vacation. We’ve been here before and the condo had some great updates with a new shower and other personal touches throughout the unit. My perfect stays was extremely attentive when we had a maintenance request as well. We had a lovely welcome gift waiting for us when we arrived and we can’t wait to return!!

We are so happy with our stay at Hale Mahina A102!!! It is such a beautiful condo with a beautiful view! We had a small beach right out front & were able to snorkel & even saw sea turtles relaxed on the beach!! Kitchen had basically everything we needed (except a strainer). It would have been nice to have maybe 2 more beach towels, but the washer & dryer saved us. TV has access to Netflix which was great! We used the pool & jacuzzi almost everyday. Parking is super convenient & close to the condo. We also got engaged right in front of the condo so this place will always hold a special place in our hearts! Overall, everything was fantastic! Perfect stay in Paradise

Very nice condo, perfect location right on the beach. Several large sea turtles beached themselves every afternoon for a nap right on the beach. Easy access to lots of great restaurants and shopping. Perfect sunset views every night with Lanai and Molokai in the background. Condo was well equipped, big shower and kitchen, plus nice to have a washer & dryer. Plenty of lounge chairs for the beach, good snorkel spot, and not crowded at all. This was our 6th trip to Maui and Hale Mahina A102 was our favorite - highly recommend.

The condo was wonderful! The condo was clean, well stocked kitchen, beach gear, and a very relaxing place! The owners were very accommodating and the Perfect Stay office was there for you if you needed them. The view was amazing and loved the turtles that were resting on the beach. Snorkeling right from the beach!

The weather was sublime. We loved the evening rain. The turtles the size of a VW bug on our little beach put on a show, and the monk seal who came to sun himself seemed right at home. If you want to just relax, THIS is the perfect place. I snorkeled every morning before breakfast and saw LOTS of colorful fish. Such a great place, and the condo was well stocked and perfectly located.

Truly the most amazing time staying here. We came to Maui for our honeymoon and staying at this condo helped make our trip so much more enjoyable. The private beach, pool and hot tub was 10/10. It was so nice and convenient just stepping outside our sliding glass door and being right by all of those things. Everything was so clean and well kept!! Both inside the condo and outside. There were sea turtles out on the sand almost every morning. A sea turtle also swam right next to me while we were in the ocean. The condo was well stocked and had everything we needed for our 10 day trip. We especially loved having a washer and dryer and all of the beach/pool things. It was just the most perfect trip and our condo played a huge part to it.

Amazing view and access!

Beautifully decorated, well taken care of condo right on the beach! Quite a few conveniences, beach access, bbq, pool, parking, trash disposal, and walking distance to many shops and food trucks (under a mile) The kitchen was wonderfully stocked with everything you’d need for most meals. It had some beach toys, boogie board, cooler, and an umbrella for use. We especially loved seeing the gorgeous HUGE hibiscus right outside our patio. It was whale season so we got to see many whales breaching as well as turtles right on the beach and in the water close to us. The snorkeling around the condo is fun as well. We love A102 at Hale Mahina and would love to return soon.

Amazing Place!

Amazing place! Highly recommended. The unit is right on the beachfront and it was nothing short of paradise. You can just open the sliding door, walk 25 steps, and be on a beautiful (and very private) beach. We counted no less than 10 turtles that came to sleep on the beach or swam nearby during our weeklong stay. The condo was clean and spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is fully-equipped, and there was plenty of room for our group of four to relax. Falling asleep/waking up to the sound of the ocean with the gentle Hawaiian breeze blowing through the unit was just incredible. Location was awesome too. Lahaina, Kaanapali, Napili, and Kapalua are all within a 10-15 minute drive. There are tons of great places to eat nearby - we loved Merienda and Miss Arepa in particular. The hosts are super responsive and friendly, and it was an unforgettable experience for our us. Would absolutely stay again the next time we come back to Maui!

We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Other folks staying in apartments/condos were very friendly, respectful and quiet. We would definitely stay here again when returning to Maui.

One of our best vacations ever

Hale Mahina is a wonderfully designed, relatively small set of condominiums, an absolutely beautiful location just yards from the beach, with its own outdoor swimming pool, hot tub and communal barbecues. The design of the buildings and strategically placed foliage gives each unit a relatively private lanai. Unit A102 is on the ground floor, very helpful for me because I'm semi disabled and stairs are difficult for me. The unit is beautifully decorated and thoughtfully outfitted. Although the units are not air conditioned, just open the vented windows and the door to the lanai and the trade winds will cool you off. Myperfectstays made the whole process easy. I loved the coffee included in the welcome basket. One of our best vacations ever.

Honeymoon in Paradise

This location was simply amazing. We came here for our honeymoon and could not ask for more. Amazing views from our lanai, we woke up with the sunlight and the sunsets were just incredible. Couldn't believe the size of the sea turtles that would come ashore to sleep. Having a beach within steps of our condo was simply the best. The location of Hale Mahina is also very convenient. 10 minutes to Honolua Bay, 10 minutes to the restaurants in Lahaina. Bad Ass coffee was only a couple minutes walk and there are tons of food options close by. The condo itself was nice and cozy and even though there is no ac, when it gets hot during the day, go take a swim in the ocean. The ocean breeze at night was enough to keep us cool. Overall great value. We will definitely come back here in the future. I miss it already.

Paradise on Maui

I can’t imagine a more perfect place to have our family vacation! My husband, 10-year-old son and I had the most memorable experience at this condo. Steps away from the beach, on the first floor, and waking up every morning with a coffee and enjoying a glass of wine at sunset every evening on the patio. We even had a turtle handle hanging out on the sand out front! The condo is perfectly clean, updated and full of tropical style. Location is great close to some great restaurants and at short drive away from downtown Lahaina. I definitely would recommend this special place for someone looking to have a relaxing and tropical beach experience!

Wonderful Condo in a PERFECT Location!

If you are looking for an amazing condo right on the ocean, this is the place for you. This incredible ground level unit is just steps away from the beach and ocean. We absolutely loved the ability to walk out to the grass, tables, and barbecues without having to go down stairs and through a gate. In addition to an amazing view of the ocean and extremely easy beach access, there is a great pool and hot tub to enjoy as well. All perfect locations to watch the immaculate sunrises and sunsets. The condo itself is in a wonderful location that is a short drive to downtown Lahaina and close to several walking trails. You are so close to so many things that you have the incredible option to go out and do things or just relax by the beach. The owners of this condo have done an AMAZING job with upkeep and updates that didn't go unnoticed. My wife and I have stayed in several units at Hale Mahina Beach Resort and this one is by far the best unit without a doubt. It's equipped with everything you need to cook in the condo or BBQ out on the grass. There are tons of ocean floaties, a boogie board, sand toys, and so much more provided to make your stay on the island is one you won't forget. They even provide an umbrella stroller if you choose to bring a little one. As parents not having to bring a stroller was a true blessing. It's hard to imagine we will return to Maui and not stay at this property and in this unit. If everything listed above wasn't enough, once you arrive you will notice a guest book by the couch. This book has been signed by all the previous guests and each guest has left numerous recommendations and tips for things to do while you are there. The choice(s) are yours. Hopefully this review was helpful and that you get a chance to stay in this beautiful little unit in west Maui.

Perfect location

This is our third stay at Hale Mahina and first time in this unit. Having a toddler being in the ground floor was amazing. The unit was very airy and private. A few beach towels didn’t look clean and the bed had a faint smell of body odor. The host was very quick to respond which we appreciated. We would stay in this unit again.

Amazing stay in west Mauii

The stay was very great and the backyard directly led to beach. They had basic snorkeling gear as well. Beach furniture and towels were all available. We could see turtle lying on the beach early mornings. Two negative points: both the mattress were not good and we woke up with back pain. Mattresses could be of better condition Snorkeling gear could have been cleaner - not sure if they were cleaned previously ( this didn’t matter as this was complimentary) Overall we enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back

This was the perfect condo for our stay. Every night there was at least one sea turtle steps from our patio, sometimes even three! It was very clean and relaxing. The bed was very comfortable. They even provided snorkel gear and boogie boards. 10/10!

Wonderful, warm and inviting condo

Hale Mahina A102 seems like the perfect Maui experience. The decor and amenities create a warm, home-like feel. The owners have gone out of their way to make it that way. The ground-level access to the grassy area and beach was very convenient -- just steps away! MyPerfectStays is a great property and booking manager. They made sure, through emails and phone calls, that they were meeting all our needs. Staff answering the phones were always friendly and greeted us with an energetic "Aloha!" All of these things made our Maui vacation wonderful and memorable. I'd like to say we did so many things while on Maui, but the comfort of this condo and easy access to beach and ocean kept us "at home" in A102 almost every day.

Hale Mahina never disappoints! We arrived to a clean and well stocked condo! We had one issue with a fire alarm which was handled promptly and professionally. We appreciated our communication with the property managers and all was taken care of 100%. We absolutely will return! I would go back tomorrow if I could!

You could tell the property is on by a family who cares about their property, had a lot a little extras that made it nice, like places to hang keys, light over the table, all the amenities you need are at your disposal

Beautiful vistas

Whale watching, daily surfing, favorite turtles on our beach and spectacular sunsets. What more could you desire! Our hosts have a lovely condo with the views right out their large sliding doors! You couldn’t get closer to the beach and still have the privacy and enjoyment of a quiet peaceful setting!. Hot tub and swimming pool, barbecue and lounge chairs all just a few steps away. And the bed is the most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept in while on a vacation! Everything spotless! Thank you to our hosts for a lovely stay!

Very responsive property manager

Our emails were always answered quickly before we arrived. We had a couple of small issues after we arrived and the local manager was right on top of them and took care of them very well. It was much appreciated, making our stay very comfortable.

20 minutes north of Lahaina

The 3 of us loved A102 condo at Hale Mahina. Having a bottom floor unit allowed 24-hour access to the lovely patio and well kept community grass lawn/pool and hot tub above the small beach which is a place for sea turtles to sleep on a daily basis. The ocean in front of this complex is perhaps the most active in terms of spotting Humpback Whales during January.(Whale Watching trip was a life changing experience with Dive Maui) Great swimming here and great snorkeling and boogie boarding a short drive north or south. This location is about 20 minutes north of Lahaina (main town), however, the Farmers Market (an awesome natural food store) and the Fish Market both provide visitors with great options within a mile. Restaurants of all price points are nearby. Reservations recommended. A102 condo was clean and well maintained. The sofa bed used by my daughter was firmer than the queen mattress in the main bedroom. Kitchen, especially the blender, and laundry were really great amenities for our stay. Thank you for sharing this condo with us. I don't think I have ever had a more relaxing vacation. We look forward to returning.

Home Away From Home

Stayed with my husband and 7 year old daughter. This by far exceeded all of our wildest dreams. It truly felt like home and no amenity was spared. There were even sand toys and floaties for the kiddo! Kitchen was well stocked and we felt very comfortable preparing many meals. We brought the outdoor dining table into the grass each night for dinner! Having the ground level made it very easy to watch the kiddo play in the ocean- she likes being able to bring her toys onto the grass and then jump in the ocean. Each night we had several turtles to watch.

Perfect beach view

Great apartment! Perfect beach view and great beach a few metres away (which had 2 turtles on whilst we were there). Very well equipped kitchen and apartment (body boards and beach towels). Not really walking distance to any restaurants or shops (about 20-40 mins walk along road to nearest) but short drive to Lahaina. Bedroom very cool thanks to fans but on back of apartment so some road noise. Overall a fantastic place, would definitely come back!

We LOVED our stay here! The setting is GORGEOUS...just step out onto the patio onto beautiful grounds right in front of a private beach. The condo had everything we needed and was comfortable & clean. We can't wait to come back!

Wonderful Place

Wonderful place to spend some quality time in Maui! The condo was charming with easy access to the beach. Our kids enjoyed the whole time we were there. There was a great vibe to the place. The pictures posted are accurate and the place looks even better in person! We could see the sunset in the ocean right from our living area. Every little thing was provided by the owners to keep our stay comfortable. We celebrated our daughter’s first birthday and it was truly special. Would love to stay again next time we are there!

Amazing location!

Just returned from a 8-night stay at this apartment. The view from the apartment and the easy access to the private beach was a great plus. We saw sea turtles and seals and was great to snorkel and paddleboard from the beach. The apartment was clean, cool and airy. The sofa bed was very comfortable and the location of the complex was close to amenities. Would recommend to others staying in this area.

We stayed at Hale Marina and loved it. The ground floor unit exceeded our expectations. This property is so clean and beautiful. The beach is right out the back-door! The property is quiet and pulling some chairs off the Lanai to watch the surf is so restful. The indoors is as lovely as the outdoors. It is clean, well appointed, and decorated beautifully. The mattress in the bedroom is the best and cushiest I've ever slept on. I highly recommend staying here!

This unit has an amazing view, it is in a great location and we absolutely loved staying here during our Hawaiian vacation! We loved the private beach, getting daily visits from turtles, the pool and just having a great place to relax, lay down and watch the sunset. I especially liked how quiet and peaceful it was and how I could walk right out to the beach.

Great Location!

My perfect stays provided us with the perfect condo for our vacation. Everything you see in the pictures, is everything you’ll get & more. These condos were very well clean, and organized. The private beach was probably the best addition to our stay. Also, these condos are in perfect walking radius of shopping centers, other shorelines, and many activities. Everything you need will be in the area.

I’ve stayed at the Hale Mahina several times over 25 years and it never disappoints. The grounds and pool are immaculate, the private beach is great and the view is wonderful.

A Whale of a Time!

As pictured, the lanai looks right out over the water. One can view whales while eating breakfast (or lunch, or early dinner) out on the lanai. We spend several hours whale watching from the property and had innumerable sightings, including a double breach. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking, and it is nice to have a washer/dryer in the unit. Great location - very close to a Times SM, and small grocer (Farmer's Market) just up the road. Do try the food trucks across from Times as well. Overall a wonderful stay.

Fabulous stay at the Hale Mahina

We had an amazing stay at Hale Mahina A102- we were so fortunate to find such a lovely condo with its amazing waterfront location and gorgeous views. The Hale Mahina property is a very special property because while it has a lovely grass area elevated over the beach & a deep water private pool, it basically has a private beach. The whales watching each day from our beach chairs and the turtles resting on the beach were really special. Everyday when we would return to our condo, it was such an oasis to return to from the hustle of the tourist crowds. The owners and repeat renters are inviting - we miss the daily sunset conch horn blow already. The condo is lovely- redone kitchen & bath, washer/dryer and a great storm door that you can lock and it lets the island breeze go right through. The owners have outfitted it well, we enjoy cooking and it was well stocked. A102 is on the ground level, so you can walk right out to the water and its view is unobstructed with lush landscaping and beautiful Hawaiian flowers.

Stayed at this property many times, first time in this unit. Everything we needed was there & property management team was easy to work with. Ocean front view can’t be beat! Steps from the beach & lounge chairs for the sun. We weren’t sure what changes to expect during these Covid times, but everything was fine. Stop at Safeway & Longs in Lahaina on the way in for groceries & supplies and then enjoy all the amenities of this condo. Mahalo for a great getaway. We will be back.
