Effective October 17th, 2025, through November 10th, 2025, Papakea Resort will undertake an extensive plumbing project. Standard work hours for this project will be from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, unless authorized for weekend work. Contractors may be present on the property to commence preparatory tasks as early as 7:00 AM. Non-working holidays are already included in the schedule. To minimize disruption, any excessively loud work will not commence before 10:00 AM. Dates are subject to change.  Not all units will be affected at the same time.

Papakea J201 offers the best that Maui has to offer.  With windows on two sides of the living room, J201 provides sweeping ocean views from throughout the living, dining and kitchen area. This one bedroom, one bathroom condo accommodates two guests and features newly installed split system air conditioning in the living and bedroom areas. The décor has an understated tropical vibe that is easy on the senses. The owners maintain a well-stocked kitchen that makes it easy to prepare your own meals, especially with the ocean view from the kitchen to inspire the cook. The open-ended lanai is a great place to lounge or dine, while watching the boats and canoes glide by; the clouds drift over Molokai and the tiki torches blazing each night as sunset descends. During the Winter season, you’ll see whales breaching and spouting. It’s a true Maui experience.

Inside, there’s a dining table that seats two comfortably, along with comfortable club chairs making this a great space to gather, kick back and ho ‘omaha (relax). There is plenty of storage space for groceries, supplies and gear. Also provided are beach chairs, beach towels and a cooler as well as an in-unit washer & dryer for additional convenience. The bedroom features a Cal King bed, AC unit, and a TV.

Because J201 is an end unit, there is no noisy corridor or elevator outside the bedroom windows. J building is located away from the Papakea maintenance and service areas, making it even quieter. The lanai is shady the majority of the day, making it usable on warm Maui afternoons and keeping the condo cooler.

The Papakea resort is a low-rise, low density property that was designed to feel like home. Located in the Honokowai community, the area feels like a neighborhood, with its local Farmers Market, convenient food trucks, local beach park, shops, grocery store and convenient restaurants. The resort itself is lushly landscaped and offers two swimming pools and jet spas, a golf putting course, pool-side gas BBQ’s, tennis and pickleball courts, shuffleboard, 24-hour security, and full-service concierge desk.  

Beach sand on the shore at Papakea is intermittent due to tides and seasonal changes.  The scenic Kaanapali beach is a brisk walk away. The high-end restaurants of Kaanapali are nearby, as are the renowned golf courses at Kapalua and Kaanapali.

This condo is managed professionally by My Perfect Stays, an on-island management company. Our on-island team provides: Dish soap, laundry soap and dryer sheets, in addition to a complimentary starter set of Papaya Noni shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and body soap. Complimentary concierge service is available to all My Perfect Stays guests.

Please Note: The Papakea Resort charges a separate $17/day facility fee for your first 10 consecutive days in a 30-day period. The fee includes one parking permit, WiFi throughout the resort, cable TV and local phone calls during your stay, as well as free use of the sports courts, pool areas and BBQ’s. Additional vehicles are $5 a day.  This fee is collected by the Front Desk upon arrival and is not a part of your rental agreement with My Perfect Stays.

Standard Cancellation Policy:
If cancellation notice is received 30 or more days prior to the check-in date, a 100% refund will be refunded within 5-7 business days from receipt of written cancellation.
If cancellation notice is received at least 14 days prior to the check-in date, 50% of the booking will be refunded within 5-7 business days from receipt of written cancellation.
For a cancellation notice received after 14 days prior to the check-in date, a refund will not be issued other than the departure cleaning fee.
