International Colony 17 is a bohemian-style, 2-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom condo featuring vaulted ceilings, split AC units in the living room and guest bedroom, and vast windows that open up to Maui’s paradise. There are no elevators at this property. Unit 17 can accommodate up to 4 guests. The master bedroom is adorned with windows and is separated from the main living space with sliding doors. This room boasts a queen-size bed and a ceiling fan. The second bedroom features a second split A/C unit and 2 twin-size beds. The full bathroom is located across the hall from the guest bedroom and features a walk-in tile shower with a shower curtain for privacy. There are 2 comfortable seating areas in the living area, and one couch converts into a queen-size sleeper sofa for additional sleeping space, with a Smart TV. Right off of the dining area is the powder room. The kitchen is equipped with stainless appliances and ample space to prep and cook when you want to dine in. You can enjoy sharing meals at the comfortable dining table while taking in the sights and sounds of this tropical location.

With its 2 pools, BBQ grills, and proximity to beaches, golf courses, restaurants, and activities you'll have many options to keep you entertained. This property is located just across the street from one of Maui’s top beaches, Ka’anapali Beach. Additionally, the grounds border the Ka’anapali Royal Golf Course and are a short walk to spectacular Kahekili Beach Park, fine dining, and open-air shopping at Whaler’s Village. There are no resort or parking fees.

Our trip here started off in the perfect place in this ICC unit. It was so open and beautiful. There are so many windows so you can really enjoy the fresh Maui air with greenery all around. It’s a short drive (or even walk!) to my favorite beach on Maui, airport beach, and just a great spot to stay. The property is quite and peaceful and we would 100% recommend this spot to make your trip to Maui the best!

Beautiful home in a wonderful location. Across the street from Kaanapali beach, where we spent many of our days. Check in and out was great. The only bummer was that the unit didn’t have wifi for half our stay, which wouldn’t be an issue if my husband didn’t have to work from the unit. Otherwise a fantastic stay.

My family and I loved the property and felt very comfortable in our little home away from home. Having a kitchen with everything you needed to cook and make homemade coffee gave our family more time to spend together rather than having to eat every meal in a restaurant. The pool was also nice and the surrounding tenants were friendly.

We stayed there for 6 days (family of 4). Everything was great - the house was very clean, the beds were comfortable and had all the amenities needed. Well-situated close to the main Kaanapali beaches. The property managers (MyPerfectStay) were on top of things with the necessary information and replied in a timely manner when we needed anything.

We absolutely loved the International Colony 17 bungalow. The management company who oversees this location was extremely helpful, responsive, and easy to reach. The on-site property manager was also extremely helpful and responsive. The location is outstanding! The colony is within walking distance of Kaanapali beach as well as Westin Hotel and the Royal Hawaiian golf course. One is a short drive from multiple golf courses, restaurants, grocery stores, the marina and downtown at Front Street, and all the offerings on the Hyatt property. Longer drives across the island bring even more adventures! Additionally, the concierge service that comes with the property was magnificent, helpful, communicated well and timely. I would definitely stay at this property again and hope to do so someday!

This house looked exactly like the pictures and was perfect for our family. The neighborhood was so cute and right across the street from Kaanapali and a short drive to Lahaina and Napili. The beds were so comfortable and I loved having an AC unit and fans in each bedroom. The property management company checked on us a few times to make sure we were enjoying our stay and they were easy to get ahold of. I would definitely stay here again hands down! It felt like our home for 10 days, Mahalo!

Bright little vacation home, I liked the decor. My family was comfortable, loved the 2 twin beds for my kids to each have their own instead of having to share a queen. We appreciated the beach accessories and having a washer/dryer was a big plus. We didn’t cook much but when we did, we had what we needed. A walkable beach just across the highway or try one of the several drivable beaches in the area. Good location for your Maui adventures.

This place was great for our family of 4’s week long trip. Well located, so charming, and the beds were all really cozy. We got there around 3am our time & struggled to find our cottage in the dark since our travel weary brains were pretty fried. If you book, which you should, know that you park in a lot and enter a complex of cottages. You can’t drive right up to the place but you can park a few yards away. It’s much clearer when it’s light out. It had everything we needed, including great stuff for the beach. The pool on site was mostly deserted & we enjoyed that as well.

Had a wonderful 4 night stay here with my Mom and sister. My Mom is 80 and has mobility issues and the unit was very accessible for her. It is a short walk from the upper parking lot down to the unit on paved well maintained pathways. The unit was very clean and comfortable. We did not notice a bug problem at all, except for a few here and there which is to be expected on a tropical island. Other reviewers mentioned bugs so I thought it was worth it to note that from our perspective, any previous bug infestation issues have been resolved. We appreciated the beach towels provided and although we didn’t use the washer/dryer, it is so nice that they have those available and provide detergent pods. There are several ceiling fans and two A/C units, one in the main living room, and one in the back bedroom with the twin beds. Recommend pulling the shades down in the front bedroom to keep it cool, as that room did run pretty warm even with the A/C units on. The location is fantastic, the complex is right across the street from Kaanapali beach/Whaler’s Village, and a very short drive to downtown Lahaina. The host was very responsive to any and all of our questions and requests, and were easy to reach if we needed anything, which we really appreciated. They assisted us with making reservations and renting a wheelchair for my Mom. Overall a great value for the price and we would absolutely stay here again!

This is perfect for a family of 4. Washer and Dryer come in handy. Full Kitchen. 1 full bathroom and 1 half bathroom (which was real handy). Tradewinds come in beautifully as the house has windows all around the home. If something is wrong they were very quick to respond and get fixed ASAP. Drive across the beach to the street. Nice central location between Kapalua and Lahaina. The pool area was very nice as well. The only two things to keep in mind is that you do have to go down or climb up a little bit depending on where you park. There is also no big outside patio like some of the units. For the price, it was just as much or cheaper then a hotel which would have been much smaller in size and amenities.

the cottage is located conveniently within a 10 min walk to the beach. and we found the location perfect as a base for exploring the island. we had a maintenance issue with one of the toilets and the property manager was quick to investigate. overall, it is a great place to bunk down while seeing Maui sites.

We stayed 5 nights at the International Colony this past week. The property certainly stood up to our expectations. The location is across the highway from Ka’anapali Beach making it very easy to walk over anytime. Not quite walking distance to town though we did walk along the beach walk to Whalers Village for dinner. The unit itself is nicely furnished with modern amenities. It is a very vintage Hawaiian cottage with open rafter ceilings and louvered windows. Truly added to the charm. That being said, we felt the shower was a tad dingy and deserved a deep clean. Also, the master bedroom, while beautiful and airy, the bed is pretty uncomfortable. Thin mattress with very little support and squeaky with every little move. We didn’t get good sleep at all. But we were in Hawaii so it’s hard to complain!

We just spent a week at the Colony beautiful location walking distance to Kanapali Beach! The condo was exactly as described, I would have scored a 5 but we had a bug problem, we called to report problem and it was addressed the next day.

Overall, this place was as described. The check-in process was not great. We had been provided instructions to find parking lot C (none of the lots were identified/labelled), and the phone number we were provided to call didn't actually connect us to a person. We needed help finding the property when we first arrived and had called the number during the listed business hours. We even went to the office, but no one was working there. Apart from that, everything else worked out. The unit is about a 20 minute walk from the nearest beach. The pool was clean and warm.

Cute villa. If you like being a little bit off the beaten path this is for you. Everything you need for a beach day they have at the place which is great. Cooler floaties beach chairs! The beach across the street in the other resort is what you are really paying for. It’s about a 5 minute walk and not as crowded as the other beaches on kaanapali and just as nice! If you are looking for a place to stay with a view of the ocean and ordering drinks on the beach stay at a resort. As I said if you like to do your own thing this is for you. You need a car if you’re going to be staying here! There were a few issues we had with a weird smell but they were immediately responsive and fixed it day of. There are also bugs but this is Hawaii so that’s just going to happen. Absolutely enjoyed our stay though !!!

This condo in Ka'anapali / Lahaina is absolutely incredible. We were within walking distance from an amazing beach, an easy drive to Lahaina town, and had easy access to all of west Maui's great hiking and outdoor activities. The condo is well appointed and private. While there were other condos nearby, we were able to totally disconnect and enjoy ourselves. We would absolutely stay here again. Mahalo!

My perfect stays was excellent at communication, and it was a beautiful location! The house is on a pretty busy street, so although walking to the beach is easy, it involves crossing a busy road which I wish I would have known. It’s also high price for what you get. But we enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

This little cottage was the perfect place for our family vacation. We were 4 adults. The beach across the street is wonderful. The house is situated right in the middle of all the resorts and while we visited them frequently we were welcomed by all the hotel staff even though we weren’t gusts of the hotel. The house itself has everything you need for beach days including chairs, SPF, a wagon, towels, and floats. The house was well equipped in the kitchen and and the layout was fantastic. The air conditioner worked great and there were additional fans just in case. We didn’t really use the pool and we didn’t have a car so we can’t comment on those amenities but the pool looked great and was always empty. I would definitely stay there again. The only downside of this cottage is that the bedrooms don’t have full privacy as the ceilings are open. Therefore if two couples would need that I wouldn’t recommend this place. Also if anyone is a light sleeper it might be difficult while other people are awake.

What a great spot for an island getaway! This private cottage is close to everything West Maui has to offer and is just a short walk to an awesome beach. Such a stylish place and a cool complex with a relaxed vibe and lush landscaping. Plus, the cottage was stocked with everything you need for a Hawaiian vacation. Loved the peekaboo ocean view and sunsets!
