This property has elevators for easy access. Unit 355 can accommodate up to 6 guests, but we can accommodate up to 8 guests with an additional $25 for each guest per day. The master bedroom has a California king-size bed, flat-screen TV with cable, and brilliant ocean views that open to the lanai. The en suite remodeled bathroom features dual sinks and tile shower. The guest bedroom offers two queen-size beds and a flat-screen TV. The guest bathroom also features dual sinks and a tile shower. In the living room, you will find ample seating and a queen-size sleeper sofa for additional guests, a large flat-screen TV with cable, and a desk area. Enjoy the convenience of having a washer and dryer inside your condo.

3 things were an issue. 1)The front door popped open 3 times, even after we thought we closed it securely. It was unnerving to find the door open after coming back from the beach. Another time it was open when we woke in the morning. We realized the owner was aware of the door issues when we saw a decal on the outside of the door advising to close the door securely. 2) The refrigerator's ice machine wasn't making any ice. Had to have maintenance repair it. 3) The wheels on the patio sliding doors (screen & glass) made a loud, grinding sound. Like the wheels needed to be replaced. It was difficult to pull or push the doors open & shut. Perhaps housekeeping can let the maintenance crew know when work needs to be done.
Now for the good…The condo unit was beautifully renovated & decorated. There were full sized, quality appliances. All in excellent working condition, with the exception of the ice machine, but that was working by day #3. Plenty of seats & beds. Large, clean , comfy sectional & recliners. Stunning views from living room & balcony. Very quiet location. Large, upgraded mattresses. Large, gorgeous kitchen, lots of counter space. Good sized bathrooms & walk-in showers. Best vacation rental we've had on Maui with an unbeatable view & location. Free parking! What more could you ask for???

Highly recommended! My family of four stayed here for 7 days and had a great time. 5 stars across the board. Apartment is clean, spacious, well-organized and right on ocean front! Sat on the lanai most of the time to enjoyed sunset and listen to the waves. There's a great and family-friendly restaurant right under.

Wonderful location, wonderful view, parking included, gorgeous 2 bedroom 2 bath condo with full kitchen and dining room plus lanai. It captures a great tropical breeze with windows open and no need for air conditioning in June. On-the-beach location easy access to pools, restaurant/bar/grills and hot tub. I could sit in Capt Jack's while monitoring kids in pool/hot tub. Excellent use of vacation dollar for a modern, private space! Teenaged girls enjoyed the 2 queen beds in 2ed bedroom. Living room fold out sofa adds additional sleep space. Easy access to 5th floor by elevator. During our stay elevator was repaired but kids were motivated by outside activities to use the stairs without much complaint! Would do it again in a heart beat!

We had a great stay! The ocean view was breathtaking! The place was clean and we appreciated all of the essentials that were provided. The beds were comfortable. We appreciated the beach towels. The pool and hot tub were a great place to retire at the end of our busy days. They were also always clean. We had 3 children with us and found the place and resort very kid friendly but also provided a nice environment to relax. We loved the location and explored many beaches 20min I either direction. The beach in front on the place is a great place to watch the sunset each night. No complaints. Would stay again. Thank you so much -Deven (Victoria, BC)

We were on the hunt for accommodations that would suit our four children, and this location surpassed all expectations! With convenient access to a family-friendly beach, perfectly tailored for our kids to play in the waves, ample space to relax and revel in the stunning surroundings, and a host who provided everything we needed for the ultimate Maui experience. This is our second stay at Kahana Sands and we can't wait to come back and make this place a part of our family tradition. We didn't want to leave!

Our family of 4 enjoyed a comfortable stay at #355. Well kept, everything you need stocked in the kitchen and beautiful views from the lanai. We enjoyed watching the turtles swim by and the gorgeous sunsets. With an onsite restaurant and pool we enjoyed everyday. We look forward to returning one day to enjoy. Stores, gas station & eateries nearby made it a wonderful stay.

Wonderful multi-family stay

We had a very enjoyable week-long stay at Sands of Kahana 355. The unit was the perfect size for two families of three (four adults and two toddlers). It was also in good condition and even seemed as though it had been partially renovated and updated with modern furnishings. The unit was well-equipped with most everything we could have wanted or needed. It was so handy to have beach chairs and toys for the kids - it made packing up and going to the beach easy. The views from this unit are spectacular, and well worth the amount paid to stay there. Based on prior reviews, I was concerned about the presence of pests. Granted, we were pretty diligent about not leaving food out and sweeping/vacuuming regularly to avoid attracting pests. But we never once saw a single insect or pest in the unit, despite having toddlers running around eating crackers and making crumbly messes. The one caveat to this unit is that it does get a bit warm in the back bedroom (due to the lack of A/C and windows for air flow). The owners provided two fans, which helped, but it was still very toasty, especially at night. We had to keep the fans going 24/7 to avoid it becoming too hot, but that was only a minor inconvenience. I would definitely stay in this unit again and would recommend it to friends and family.

Generally very. Good but a/c is needed. Also ice maker was broken and numerous repair visits didn’t fix it. Ice should have been supplied & delivered but wasn’t A central ice machine should be available to avoid driving to a store every day or two. Perhaps a small but important annoyance for such a nice condo.

There is nothing that this place lacked in comfort. Very thoughtfully supplied and the view was amazing. I’m giving 5 stars because there was everything we needed from pool floats to extra towels as as well as amply stocked kitchen necessities. The Extra FEES however were pretty steep.

Amazing! The whole family of 6 enjoyed our stay very much. The view is beautiful, towels are plush, and starter amenities were greatly appreciated. The master bedroom bed is in the soft side, but I’m really looking for problems there. Beautiful as Maui is, we almost didn’t want to leave this condo!

Loved it. The beach chairs could use an upgrade and the icemaker didn't work, but when you have to dig that deep to find a flaw you know it's a great unit. The upgrades are evident everywhere. Absolutely beautiful.

The location was perfect for my family! Just by the beach and pool. We had some complications with the master's bathroom but My Perfect Stays were very responsive and tried their best to fix it. Cleanliness could have been better but overall we enjoyed our time in Maui!

This condo was really nice and the views were spectacular. We usually stay at the Westin Villas, so this review is relative to that. I thought this unit was more spacious, more homey (as it is equipped with all the things you need, like beach chairs, beach towels, books, kitchen supplies, spices and even some coffee). The Beach itself is more protected, so it's less windy and the water is calmer. It's right across the street from one of the BEST sushi restaurants we've ever eaten at (Miso Phat), around the corner from the Maui Brewery, and just a short drive to Merrimans. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the complex and the condos are a little older and are beginning to show their age here and there. We would definitely stay at this unit again, and actually now prefer it over the Westin Villas.

Condo was awesome, clean, amazing balcony and view from inside as well including from the kitchen. We listened to the waves every night and woke up to them every morning. Nice bathrooms, showers, and updated kitchen which was well stocked. Furnishings were well done and the beds amd linens super comfortable. We loved staying here!!

Nothing but good things to say about the place. The beach is literally steps from the building. Although not as well known as the nearby Kaanapali beach, this one is much better for swimming. Pretty good snorkeling as well, especially from the middle of the beach and to the right. I saw several sea turtles and several groups of 20+ fish without needing to go out very far. Nice pool and kids pool on the property, which was great getting the 3 year old used to the water and willing to go into the ocean. Plenty of grills on the property if you want to cook out some days, there are enough that you never have to wait around. They are also cleaned by the staff multiple times a day so they are usually spotless when you light them up. Pro-tip: the ones that look nicer do not cook very hot so opt for the ones that look more worn in. They are more worn in for a reason. The place was exactly as described in the listing. Great views, nice balcony with plenty of room, easy to leave the patio door open at night and fall asleep to the sound of the waves. I booked the place a while back and was a bit concerned with some of the more recent reviews mentioning cockroaches and such, but if they were there before, they are definitely not there anymore. We had zero issues. The ocean breeze does a more than serviceable job keeping the place cool, so not having AC was no issue for us at all. We didn’t use the fans either, but those can certainly help boost ventilation if needed. Just keep the patio doors open and there is a pretty steady fresh air current throughout the place. Again, great overall stay for my wife and I, plus two small kids and the in laws. Plenty of room and plenty to do nearby. I would highly recommend.

This unit was actually as great as it was described to be. The views from the living room and primary bedroom deck were simply breathtaking. We spent hours just sitting there, taking it all in. The proximity of this unit to the beach which has a cafe and all the rental boards and kayaks one could want was awesome. Parking was a dream with both free covered parking and open parking available. Bottom line, the pros are endless and the cons are very few. On the con side, renters should be aware these buildings are constructed around large central atriums, so any late night or early morning noise from within the atrium or the under-building parking echos up through the atrium, so the second bedroom which faces the atrium gets the full effect. However, knowing that, we would still do it all over again. The second (and last) con is that the main bedroom mattress and one of the second bedroom mattresses both need replacement. With the exception of the items above, this has been one of the best stays we’ve had in Maui and we’ve been coming here for over 30 years; therefore the “5” rating.

This place is very large for a Hawaiian condo. We were 5 adults and had plenty of space. The full size washer and dryer were super useful. The best part of this place is the stunning views and ocean sounds that lull you to sleep. Definitely would return.

Wonderful Family-Size Condo with Amazing views

Wow! That is what we all said when we entered this huge condo with a wall of windows looking out to the ocean. I've spent a lot of time in Hawaii and Maui and this is by far the most spacious place I've stayed in and so close to the water - the ocean sounds lull you to sleep. The furnishings were all beautiful and comfortable, plenty of space for everyone the lounge and eat together. The appliances are new and high end and the kitchen has everything you need. The second bedroom can be a bit noisy as it has a louver window to the shared hall and you hear everyone coming and going. But that is our only negative thing to say about this place. The beach is lovely and has a few shade trees. Several turtles hung out in the surf with us - so fun!

Awesome location and a million dollar view from this unit. Elegant decor and live edge matching furniture. Shower and kitchen faucets required some maintenance. We reported this and received a confirmation this would be fixed before the next quests move in.

Loved the view and the location of the place. Everything was clean however there was a cockroach infestation which needs to be looked at.

This unit was spectacular! I would absolutely rent from here again! The view from the large living room window was just stunning! It was beautiful, clean, very spacious and had super comfy beds! Great location to amazing beaches and shops. It was nice having a restaurant right there at the location as well as having an option of the pool for the kids. My only complaint would be I don’t remember reading that there was going to be an additional $75 check in fee when we arrived. Other than that this place was amazing!

This condo was even better in person than the photos. It was perfect for family and very kid friendly. Plenty of towels and beach supplies. Clean/large kitchen and condo in general. Comfortable beds. Absolutely nothing negative to say about this place. There’s nothing like drinking coffee every morning on the balcony while watching and listening to the waves right below! Book this place and you won’t regret. Will be back for sure.

We loved the location for many reasons. The views are absolutely perfect. Walking distance to coffee. Maui Brewery, water rentals, and the beaches! Woke up to rainbows daily. The breeze was so soothing. Very close to some awesome snorkeling. We traveled with our 5 teen boys. We would stay here again and refer our family & friends!

The view was amazing to look at every day and was fantastic to fall asleep and wake up to the sounds of the ocean! Condo furnishings were beautiful and comfortable. Beach was safe for the kids, had good snorkeling, and not crowded like some of the other resort locations. Was also nice to have the paddle board rentals, grills, and restaurant on site. We were able to walk across the street for other rentals and convenience stores. The condo was a great size for our family of 5, had everything we needed including beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrella and other beach toys. I gave the overall rating as 5 stars because of the positives mentioned above, however, there was one significant problem and that was the hallway noise of the neighbors in the complex. Without air conditioning, windows have to be left open and you can hear neighbors talking loudly and slamming their doors shut. For the bedroom that is on that side, it was a constant disruption and made it hard for the kids to sleep well. There was nothing that could have been done about this - that's why I left the rating as 5, but I think other renters should be aware.

The condo was very clean and in and great location. We had plenty of towels and even beach accessories like chairs, boogie boards, and pool noodles. It was decorated beautifully. We will definitely recommend to friends and family and stay here again!

Beautiful location close to food and groceries and with its own beach! Sunsets and moonsets each day. A little slice of heaven. Zac helped with the best customer service! Very responsive and helpful. The view is amazing, we made sure to be on the lanai each sunrise and sunset. Lack of AC wasn’t an issue, and the place was perfectly appointed for a longer stay. The beach out front isn’t the best, but the best beaches in the area are a 15 minute drive away, so it’s probably a bonus to have fewest people to share the beach with. Also, Miso Phat Sushi is the bomb, make sure to plan at least one dinner with them.

We really enjoyed our stay on the island. COVID cleaning protocols have been put into place. The unit was actually better than the pictured (huge!). The responses from MyPerfectStays were quick and friendly. We had zero issues finding the place, parking was simple and plentiful, and it was a great location overall. As mentioned before, the unit does not have AC but the fans and open widows kept it cooler. Highly recommended.

The condo is just as described with everything you could want & more. The view is amazing and we loved watching the whales playing from our balcony. It was our first trip to Maui, but will not be our last and we would definitely stay at this property again.

Beautiful ocean view room. Enough space to fit a big group. Just plan ahead for no AC, but opening all the windows and use of fans helps with the breeze. Would stay again.

The view from this condo is absolutely phenomenal. We stayed for 4 nights and it was the perfect location for our time on Maui. The area is fantastic and the resort has everything you need, as well as close proximity to some of the best beaches and golf on Maui. Loved staying here! One note I will make - check the cleaning fee before you book! We booked last minute and it was still worth it, but a “cleaning fee” that approaches $500 is a bit ridiculous.
