We've had the good fortune to travel extensively ~ we can solidly recommend My Perfect Stays. We've had several disappointing encounters with other, large vacation platforms.
With My Perfect Stays, they responded very quickly and clearly understood our requests/needs. When the fridge broke down they immediately provided a replacement and had the original one repaired very quickly.
Consequently we booked two more vacations with them & are considering a third trip.

My family of five has been returning specifically to Unit 501 for years, and each stay feels like a brand-new adventure. From the moment we arrive, we're welcomed with thoughtful touches like fresh flooring, updated appliances, and a charming gift basket filled with locally made treats. A well-organized binder loaded with insider tips, activity suggestions, and must-see spots around Maui makes exploring even easier.
The unit's central location is a huge plus. It's close to Whalers Village, Lahaina Cannery Mall, and convenient grocery options like Safeway and a fantastic local market. And when it comes to beaches, you're spoiled with choices like Napili Bay, Kapalua Bay, Kaanapali Beach, and many more stunning shores are all just a short drive away.
The air conditioning kept us perfectly cool at 71–72°F, and the high-speed Wi-Fi (500 Mbps!) worked flawlessly. Each guest received a beach towel, and the attention to detail throughout the unit truly makes it feel like a second home.
Kitchen - We cooked nearly every meal here, which saved us a ton and let us splurge on unforgettable Maui experiences.
The kitchen is impressively stocked with:
• Full sets of utensils (knives, forks, spoons, spatulas, BBQ tools, whisk, cheese grater, measuring cups/spoons, can opener)
• Large Refrigerator/Freezer with ice maker, oven, stove, microwave
• Cookware including pots, pans, mixing bowls, strainer, waffle maker, and an Instant Pot
• Appliances like a Ninja blender and a dual-function coffee maker (Keurig pods or ground coffee—your choice!)
• Essentials like dish soap, sponge, trash bags, paper towels, and dishwasher pods
There are even reusable plastic cups for poolside use, plus regular plates, cups, and cool coffee mugs. I loved one of the cooking pots so much, I bought the same one when I got home!
Guest Bedroom:
This room has two twin beds, but we always request they be converted into a king—and the setup is seamless. There's a large TV and a closet stocked with games and puzzles, perfect for winding down after beach time.
Main Bathroom:
The in-unit washer/dryer combo is a game-changer. We travel light with carry-ons and just wash clothes as needed—saving hundreds on checked bag fees. Detergent pods and dryer sheets are provided, along with plenty of towels and washcloths.
Front Room & Dining Area - Spacious and inviting, this area features:
• A large dining table
• A couch that converts into a bed
• A recliner and two extra chairs
• A Roku-equipped TV
• A beautifully painted surfboard above the table that adds a splash of island charm
Lanai (Balcony) - This is my favorite spot. With a table and chairs, it's perfect for sipping Maui-made root beer, watching sea turtles, soaking in sunsets, and just breathing in paradise.
Master Bedroom - The master suite includes:
• A large ocean-view window
• Private bathroom with shower
• Walk-in closet stocked with:• 6 beach chairs
• 2 adult snorkel sets + 1 child set
• Baby bassinet
• Ice chest
• (And yes—I think I spotted a croquet set!)
Royal Kahana Amenities - The property itself is fantastic, offering:
• Heated pool with plenty of lounge chairs
• Immaculate BBQ grills (cleaned daily)
• Filtered water and morning coffee in the lobby
• Three elevators
• Ping pong table downstairs
• Ice maker
• Trash chutes on every floor
• An activity director in the lobby to help book excursions
I've wanted to write this review for years but didn't know where to begin because there's just so much to love. A quick tip: not all units at Royal Kahana are created equal. My sister stayed in a different unit one year and ended up spending most of her time with us in 501. Her unit had only two forks and a bare-bones kitchen. Ours was fully loaded and ready to host. I can't wait to go back!

Our first visit and stay in maui turned out to be one of our favorite vacations, thanks to the fantastic customer experience and hospitality offered by myperfectstay group, starting with reminders and clear instructions provided preparing us for the arrival and the manual provided upon our arrival and the thoughtful little gift which our daughter was excited to receive( hint turtle is her favorite animal). The experience continued with a loaded kitchen that had every cutlery, utensil, and appliances( blender, toaster) we needed for the week and other thoughtful things in the apartment which our family enjoyed like board games, puzzles, snorkel kit, beach chairs, ample amount of towels. We also enjoyed reading the books about Hawaii, generously available in the apartment, and the kids were talking about surfer Eddie and King’s Highway to the locals. The apartment was spotless, had a good view as described in the website's photos, and was near Nappili Beach, where we snorkeled and found many turtles. Our family also enjoyed the pool, which was always nicely heated, and watched a beautiful clear sunset from the pool. The employees in royal kahana were so friendly and kind as well. Carlos greeted us at night, helped us get into the apartment, and greeted us every time we met him in the lobby. The front desk and concierge were always friendly and helpful with questions. My son had dietary restrictions, and having a kitchen available that was fully equipped( even aluminum foil!) kitchen helped us prepare food for our road trips to Haleakala and the road to hāna, etc. Another favorite part is having a washer/dryer in the house, which immensely helped with our trips to pool/beach several times in the day. Thanks to myperfectstay and the condo owners for providing us with one of the best summer memories. We hope to return. Mahalo!

When we first walked in we were pleasantly surprised at how spacious 501 is. Everything we needed was provided, plus there were beach chairs, beach towels, etc. The view from the lanai is spectacular and we enjoyed beautiful sunsets. The resort staff were friendly and helpful. We hope we can return for another stay.

We found the condo to be very spacious. The location is great (hard to beat Kahana), and the beach was right out the door. We like this building. The twin beds pushed together were not the most comfortable (we were sharing the condo with another couple), but their bed was comfortable (the king). The view of ocean looks a little better in the picture than reality, but it was still quite good. Overall, I would stay here again.

Nicely set up so that common area is between the two bed/bath areas. Great view from balcony and nice place for the morning coffee. Lots of chairs around pool. Access to beach is a little difficult but manageable. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had to book this property last minute because our other booking fell through, and I was actually very happy that we ended up here. The unit was great, very clean and comfortable. They had a lot of items we could use during our stay like chairs, coolers, umbrella, etc and that was very nice. The property was also excellent, the pool was nice to have for casual swimming and a good temp. And although the listing had it listed as not available - there WAS direct beach/ocean access from the property which was great. Good location, easy access onto the main road, small convenience store near by and access into the towns for bigger stores and dining. Overall it was a great location and great trip. Only complaint - and not at any control of the unit owners or operator's was that the AC in the entire building went out while we were there which was a little uncomfortable. Thanks!

We were so happy to have a place for our family of four. The space was very clean, great layout, easy access, within walking distance to food and shopping, and extraordinary views! We watched the sunset from our balcony and saw whales playing the 2nd night we were there. The unit has a well-stocked kitchen, tvs in each room, strong internet, a/c and I was impressed how quiet things were when it came time for rest. I was so thankful for the use of a cooler, portable chairs, snorkeling gear and boogie boards! My kids LOVED this stay, which made it extra great for us! My Perfect Stays did a wonderful job with communicating and was prompt to respond to any questions we had! I highly recommend you book this unit if you appreciate a dedicated private space where you can prepare your own meals, wash your clothes, rest when needed and still enjoy a nice pool, BBQ area and crazy awesome views! My family and I stayed here for 5 days, and had wonderful experiences here! The location was perfect (views of the ocean from our own patio - including several whale sightings; perfect sunsets from the beautiful pool and grilling patio; 2 blocks to a nice beach...). There were wonderful extras in the suite (the most comfortable recliner - we wanted to take it home; super quiet unit - I'm a light sleeper; great beds/toppers; rainfall shower; all the beach chairs/snorkel gear/cooler/etc. we needed; kitchen fully stocked with pots/pans/utensils/etc. ready for use - we cooked all our breakfasts here, but grilled for dinners...). We would not only stay here again, we would live her (Website hidden by Airbnb) The only negative was tight parking (narrow spaces and sometimes we had to park in the underground garage), but this was nothing compared to the benefits.

The room was clean and comfortable. Almost anything you needed was already provided. AC worked great. A short drive or walk to restaurants and beaches. I didn't notice in the description that the beach at the property was inaccessible due to erosion, so that was my fault, but the pool and it's amenities worked out for us.

I really enjoyed staying at this property. We had friends a few doors down at their timeshare, so we didn't spend a ton of time in the room. The A/C worked well! So good to have a place with air conditioning because Hawaii can get (and stay) hot. The "Down" sides: The view of the ocean wasn't as great as you'd originally hope, but there are other more expensive places if you want that picturesque view. Also the kitchen was small if you were planning on cooking most of your meals. It was clean, and was stocked well, but the size is rough. The Great: Everything was clean. We had no trouble with any linens, carpet, or bathrooms. Everything looked great. Parking was easy, and plentiful enough. They had luggage carts if necessary (we used them coming and going). I would not hesitate to stay here again.

We travel with 3 kids and this place was spacious for all of us. We really enjoy the natural sun light and air flow throughout the whole unit and did not use the A/C at all. Our kids really enjoy the pool after a long day. We cooked at the unit and it had everything you need along with grilling at the poolside! Rafael was really easy to communicate upon arrival and check-in on us along with responding when the garage disposal stop working. Overall we had a fabulous time and experience at this location and would recommend it and stay here again.

Great location, and fantastic views. The check-in process was simple and the communication from My Perfect Stays was great. They emailed and called leading up to the trip, as well as the day after check-in to make sure everything went smooth. We were able to whale watch from the balcony, and caught a few sunsets from the pool area. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in this property after spontaneously deciding to extend our stay in Maui and we enjoyed this condo. It was spacious and well kept place. Our particular property rep was super ahead of things and let us know our internet was having issues and was working on it. So that was nice not have to discover and complain about it. We loved that this property had access to a beach just steps away from their pool/BBQ area that was practically private and deserted. It could be the COVID-19 restrictions causing very little tourist traffic but our toddler loved being able to just take an elevator down and a few steps to the beach. The building management is well-prepared for the COVID-19 related matters - hand sanitizer by the elevators on every floor. Mask requirements in public spaces. Nice security guy. It made our vacation feel very safe and comfortable.

The unit was exactly as pictured. Very clean and spacious and decorated wonderfully. The kitchen was stocked with more than we could possibly need. Toiletries to start, dish and laundry detergents were provided. Beach towels and chairs were provided, which helped a lot. The view was amazing and the location was close to where we spent most of our time. Since before we arrived and throughout our stay My Perfect Stays was soooo attentive and always wanted to make sure we enjoyed our stay. I definitely recommend this vacation home and will book with them again!

The condo is clean and the shared living space (living room and dining room) are very large! My Perfect Stays is very communicative if you have any questions leading up to your stay and while you are visiting. Location of this place is amazing. Very close to kannapali beach and Lahaina. Owners are very attentive and quick to respond. Everything we needed to know prior the trip was clear. Will recommend to everyone to stay here if coming to Hawaii. This place was a lot bigger than expected.

Property is in an older building and a little tired due to age and humid location but with that in mind it seemed recently clean and stocked with all we needed. Easy check in and there was a little market, a Maui Brewing, a pub, water rentals, golf club rentals and a McDonalds within walking distance. The pool was clean; we didn’t try to find the beach. The twin bed mattresses aren’t wonderful but my back feels fine after a few nights. Nice ocean view from lanai. The area is on the windy side- but just a short drive to Lahaina to much nicer weather

Great view from the lanai. The unit is spacious and clean. The resort is in an awesome location - right in the beach with views of Molokai and Lanai. My Perfect Stays left us a nice gift box and checked to make sure everything was ok. We loved staying here.

Great host and location. Place was a little outdated and worn, guest shower had one glass door unhinged on the bottom so it swang when moved- a little sketchy. Otherwise the place was very clean, beach towels and chairs provided, kitchen stocked w utensils, brand new washer and dryer. Would stay again!

Thank you my perfect stays. This condo was very spacious and fit my family of 6 very comfortably. Ac & Kitchen was a bonus and the sunset view, oh and the beach. I recommend this unit for anyone with children or 4 people or more. It felt like home for us. Grocery store is 5 mins. away and great value. Host were very responsive and very nice people. Nothing to complain about at all we were happy we stayed there. We would stay here again. Sad we had to leave!

Great place, perfect for my family of 5. Very large and roomy with all the amenities you would need and the comforts of home. The beds were so soft and cozy with the exception of the sleeper sofa which no one could have slept on comfortably. We just bought an $8 camping mattress from Walmart and my son slept on that on the floor. The beach chairs, towels and cooler came in very handy. My perfect stays was super accommodating. They allowed us to check in an hour early at no extra charge and when we couldn’t find a blanket for the pull out, they immediately sent someone over to help us find it. The only downside, aside from the couch, was that there was no beach access. In my opinion, the pictures were deceiving and led me to believe there was a beach on property, which was one of the biggest reasons I booked it, and when we got there there were huge sandbags covering the washed-out beach which was not discussed or shown in pictures. You have to walk 5 minutes up the road to get to the closest beach which is convenient but my family likes to stay right on the beach. For that reason, we wouldn’t stay again but if “beachfront” isn’t a priority to you you or your family, I would definitely recommend this beautiful condo.

We note under photo #27 that sand levels vary throughout the year directly in front of the resort. During the winter months North swells create a wash away effect on the sandy beaches. During the summer months bring South swells which help bring the sand back to the beaches as stated in the listing. When sand levels are low, you can walk to nearby Pohoku Beach. This was our family’s first trip to Maui, and the Royal Kahana #501 made our stay very comfortable. It was about a 45 minute drive from the airport (very easy to find, and the communication/check-in was flawless). Having two bedrooms and two bathrooms gave my wife, two daughters, and I some space to breath, but we spent most morning together having breakfast and coffee together on the balcony watching surfers and whales. They provided three beach chairs and four beach towels, and having a washer and dryer in the unit made our 7-day stay even easier. Although there’s no beach immediately accessible from the Royal Kahana, there are some beautiful beaches nearby, including Napili Beach, which was our favorite (<2 miles away). Parking was plentiful, and although there were a lot of families with young kids at the resort, the unit was very quiet, especially in the evenings. We will definitely come back to Maui, and when we do, we’d definitely consider staying here again.

Beautiful Condo! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful condo. It did need to be cleaned better and the sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable. We also weren’t aware that you have to go directly to the Airbnb listing for questions and concerns during your stay instead of the downstairs front office. The kitchen was a little tight but overall it was a nice condo.

Really nice place for 4 person but quite expensive per person. We had great times there. The condo was super clean.

A very nice place for a big family!

A very nice place for a big family. Bedrooms and living room are huge. It's fully stocked. They even have a crib there that's not mentioned in the listing. We really enjoyed our stay. The only caveat is that the beach near the building is a bit narrow. If there's wind or waves, you'd better go to another beach. Good thing is that both nice and calm Kapalua beach and baby beach in Lahaina are 8 mins drive away from this place.

Loved everything about this place- It was clean, comfortable and had everything that we needed for our 1 week stay including beach chairs, umbrellas, skim boards etc.
