This lovely 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom condo offers some of the best views from Papakea Resort that is suitable to accommodate up to 4 guests. This west-facing condo will provide unobstructed oceanfront seats to Maui’s incredible sunsets and views of the majestic islands of Molokai and Lanai. Unwind on your private lanai where you’ll be able to spot sea turtles and whales breaching during the winter months.
Papakea Resort A307 is on the 3rd-floor featuring a tropical interior and more! Inside you’ll find a relaxed Hawaiian-inspired atmosphere with cool tile flooring, tropical-themed furnishings and décor, and plenty of natural light. Stay cool with a spilt A/C unit in the living room and ceiling fans throughout the unit. The sofa not only has an ocean view but converts into a queen-size sofa bed to accommodate additional guests. In the bedroom, you’ll enjoy a queen-size bed and a relaxing place to rest after a day in the sun. The bathroom features a large vanity space and a stone walk-in shower. Enjoy your meals and unwind on the private lanai with a dining table for 6. The fully equipped kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, custom koa wood finishes, and granite countertop seating for 3 with a dining table for 4. Pack light! It is located just North of the famous Ka’anapali Beach. Walk to nearby local shops, cafes, restaurants, and grocery stores. It is a quick drive to Whalers Village and many of Maui's top beaches like Kaanapali, Napili Bay, and Kapalua Bay.

Scope of work: Replace rocks along the ocean side of the seawall and backfill the sinkholes that have developed adjacent to the seawall. General Construction work hours 8am to 5pm Mon-Fri. Ocean-Side Rock Restoration 6am to 7pm Mon-Fri depending on daily tide conditions. Work progression: Work will begin at the Lanai ocean side stairs area. Work will then progress from North to South, which is subject to change. Rock stacking will begin where ocean and beach conditions allow.
Traffic Coating Walkway Project as of 9/16/26: Units A109-A105 (elevator) 1/11-1/14/27, Units A104-A101 1/18-1/21/27. There will be no access to the ground floor walkways or access to the front entry door during the walkway coating application 8am to 7pm. Ground floor occupants must use their lanai doors to enter and exit their units. Papakea staff will be stationed on the lanai side of the building to help screen access to occupied units. One stairwell will remain open for upper-floor occupants during this work.
Posted 9/24/26: All hallway floors in the A and B buildings will be pressure washed. A Bldg 9/29, B Bldg 9/30/26. Work hours 9am to 5pm.

Our stay was perfect! The condo inside and out was clean and taken care off properly. The location was good and the non-ending view was great! The bonus was no bugs running every time we opened the front door. ( I know, Hawaii brings bugs, but so clean and beautifully re-modeled unit.) Thanks so much- we hope to return to the same unit some day!

My husband, 8-month-old baby, and I had a wonderful stay in A307. The location of the unit on the property is perfect: oceanfront gorgeousness, and it’s on the top corner of the property so while you’re close to the pool and walking paths of the condo complex, it’s quiet and feels private. The condo itself is very well stocked with everything you need, sparkling clean, and very comfortable. As other reviewers mention, the a/c is only in the living room but with that and the fans, we were perfectly comfortable in the bedroom. We traveled to Maui with a group of friends, all of whom rented condos in Papakea. Ours was the nicest. The Papakea staff were friendly and helpful, and the property is very well maintained. The only small thing we’d change is having umbrellas or other shade by the pool so it’s more usable for more hours of the day. We look forward to our next stay!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The ocean view was incredible and it was amazing to be so close to a more private beach area. My only negative is that the parking is first come first serve and if you get back late you will have to park farther away. It would be better if they did assigned spots closer.

Views From The Balcony Were Breathtaking!

The unit was exactly as described and the views from balcony were breathtaking. You can literally just sit there for hours and enjoy the ocean views with occasional turtle and whale sightings making it even more exciting. We even got to see rainbows a couple of times. Enough parking spaces available and easy to drive around and access other parts of Maui. Location is great with enough grocery stores and food trucks within walking distance. Pools are great for relaxing while soaking in some sun. We noticed a few ants in the kitchen and bathroom. Wish there was AC in the bedroom as well. Overall, nice stay and would recommend!

Great View from Balcony

Great at view from the balcony, we saw whales. Some ants in the kitchen and bathroom. Noticed a few on the first day and didn't think it would be a big deal since they were the small ones, then gradually got more. We notified them and they offered to spray non toxic repellent and set a trap, but we were already leaving the next day. The guest upstairs were nosy and were stopping. Nothing can beat the view. We liked how everything was labeled. Wish there was AC in the bedroom. Overall, nice stay, would stay again if we come back to Maui and ants are addressed.

The property was exactly as advertised. Well appointed and clean. We appreciated the ice maker and not having to run to the ABC for that all the time. This is our 3rd time staying at Papakea because of the location and how nice the complex is. This is by far our most favorite room we have had. Watching the whales and turtles from the deck was beyond amazing and excellent. Would definitely recommend this unit if you want an amazing experience.

The condo location was perfect as well as the spectacular ocean view from the lanai everyday! It was prime whale watching season and we enjoyed seeing a ton of whales multiple times a day right from the condo! It was amazing! We felt relaxed and right at home. We had everything we needed for an incredible stay.Restaurants within walking distance and easy to drive around to explore the island. Check in and out was seamless and the staff were very friendly! We loved the condo, but our one main complaint would be that the bedroom gets hot. Even if you use the small fan they have provided it is very hot. We ended up not being able to sleep in the bedroom. Bed was not that comfortable & the AC did not make it back to the bedroom for coolness.

Wonderful place to stay! We enjoyed walking each morning along the roadside or the beach. The grounds are beautiful and doesn’t feel overcrowded at all. The kitchen was well stocked and very nice. My only suggestion is having air in the bedroom. While the fan helped, with the a/c unit being out by the balcony the air does not circulate well into the bedroom. We enjoyed our stay very much. The view was amazing, yes, much more impressive in person, loved the roaring sound of crashing waves, (there was a north swell), and loved that you could control the loudness of the ocean by keeping the sliding doors cracked or wide open. The AC worked really well & a small fan is provided to help suck the AC into the bedroom which eventually would cool down. The furniture & decor are lovely, I enjoyed looking at every piece of decoration especially any vintage looking pics , the wooden turtle & whales . The pull- out couch was very comfortable & so was the queen bed in the bedroom. I would recommend though getting a mattress that is the same size as the bed frame as I walked into the wooden corner of the frame about 4 different times during our 8 nights stay. Loved the beach chairs, towels & lunch-box size cooler provided but would recommend providing a beach umbrella & a bigger cooler. The place was very clean & the only complaint is we were woken up every morning between 5.30 am & 6 am from noisy guests directly upstairs from us. This happened for our first 5 nights & since I was also dealing with my Mum's unexpected hospitalization it added to our stress of not getting enough rest. The guests checked out 10 October but house keeping didn't clean till 11 October at which point we were woken up again. We checked out 13 October. We will be back in Maui but would first try to stay on the top floor before staying here again. And this is only because of the noisy guests upstairs which I understand is totally out of the owners' control. We did call management about this 3 mornings in a row. The grounds are beautiful & my daughter loved finding geckos, toads, giant snails & even 2 sea turtles the first morning she snorkeled right out front. This vacation will be one of our treasured memories.

We loved our stay at this condo and would love to stay here again in the future. The sunset view couldn’t be beat, the bed was comfy and the kitchen was well stocked. It is a great location within walking distance of the food truck park and a grocery store. The only thing is the cleaning fee is a little steep if you’re only staying a couple of days. The longer you stay the more days the cleaning fee is spread out across. The unit was very clean though. There was also a resort fee of $17 a day that was paid directly to the resort at check in for parking and the amenities. There’s also a washer and dryer in the unit which allows you to pack lighter.

Clean and Organized!

My stay at this condo exceeded my expectations! Clean, well organized, and stocked. Great location close to all kinds of restaurants and activities. In fact, I was so often out and about doing things that I didn't even go down to the ocean in front of the unit until my final day! I didn't use the pool or other facilities, but the front desk office was bright and clean and check-in was smooth. Parking for this unit can get tight in the evening, but unless you have mobility issues it's not really a problem...you'll just have to walk a bit more. I never had to use the A/C, but it was cooler and overcast for much of my stay. I used the patio screen doors and fans and all was comfortable with the bonus of hearing the ocean sounds throughout the condo. I would stay here again...5 stars!

The communication was easy and prompt. The unit was clean and easy to manage the stay. The view was beautiful and as expected from the ad on VRBO. We loved our stay and would love to come back someday. This was our first time (me and my kids) in Hawaii and it was so amazing! We felt safe in this condo which only added to our experience.

Moms trip to Maui. 3 of us stayed in Papakea A-307. What an amazing trip. I have been to Maui several times, and this this condo was the best I have stayed in. Nicely updated and My Perfect Stays had it very clean and ready to go for us. The views were top notch! Whales everywhere right from our lanai. We’ll stocked kitchen, with any gadget you may need. Beach chairs and towels were a bonus! I look forward to returning to Papakea A-307. Mahalo!

Very well-kept unit. All the dinnerware and appliances that a person could need to make drinks & meals. New washer/dryer that worked great. Mattress in bedroom is a queen on a base that is larger than a queen, so need to watch the wood corners. My wife and I both ran into the corners and banged up our shins. Lanai has beautiful oceanfront views. Chairs on lanai aren't comfortable to sit in to watch the whales for any extended period of time. Overall, a great unit that we would stay in again.

Unit was clean and inviting when we arrived. My Perfect Stays responded quickly when we had a problem with the light switch in the bathroom. We look forward to staying in another My Perfect Stays unit at Papakea in the future.

This was a great stay. The condo was clean. The view was gorgeous. They provided beach chairs (that we kept forgetting to take with us, smh). My Perfect Stays communication and customer service was AMAZING! It was probably top 3 in customer service experiences I’ve had in my life. They were great. The only complaint I have is that we found out as soon as we got there that the washing machine was broken. Apparently there were issues with it beforehand, and then it was broken completely before we arrived. Being that we packed lightly, because we were expecting to be able to wash and dry our clothes, it was an inconvenience to have to go to a laundromat to wash our clothes. I didn’t knock down the rating for this because I understand it was out of their control. I just wish the owners would have repaired the washer when it first started having issues or even scheduled the repair while we were there.

This condo is a MUST book!!! The condo itself had unbelievable, unobstructed views of the ocean! We saw whales everyday off the lanai! It had everything we would want and was extremely clean and organized. The grounds at Papakea were gorgeous as well. It’s very clean and pretty. There is no beach right out front but it doesn’t matter cause the beautiful 2 min walk gets you there and the walk is gorgeous. We did it every morning! Amazing view

Amazing view right on the ocean! Can hear the waves all night. Peaceful and gorgeous to have breakfast on the fantastic patio. Fun resort accommodations. They had super comfy beach chairs and 3 beach towels. Fully stocked kitchen. It is less than 10 minutes away from black rock beach and easy access to everything we wanted. Also, a couple blocks away from an entire food truck setup. We will definitely come back.

Beach Front!

This beach front property is well equipped, furnished nicely and clean. Bring your own snorkeling gear, they provide beach towels and beach chairs. Stop at Costco on your way from the airport to grab water, beverages, breakfast items. You need to bring your own condiments and coffee (drip system). The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. Refrigerate all items. The AC is located in the front, utilize the fan in the bedroom to draw the air toward the back. The pool is heated and clean to include the restrooms. The boardwalk is steps away and food trucks are nearby for a quick bite. A rental car is recommended. Tip: book your restaurants favorites early due to limited seating capacity (covid). Some reservations are 2-3 months out. Bring ID and proof of vaccination. Enjoy the beautiful beaches, rainbows and all Hawaii has to offer. Our trip was fabulous!

The view from the room was incredible, better then the pictures beach access was close.Stores were within walking distance and there was a area of food trucks we went back to twice! The staff is so friendly from check in to check out even just walking around property they were great.

This is a really nice condo! It has been updated and is very clean and organized. The view of the ocean is gorgeous. We especially loved opening the pocket door in the living room and listening to the waves rolls in. Beds were comfy and the washer and dryer came in very handy. Just know it’s a quiet condo complex. If you are looking for a resort like atmosphere with a jumping pool, music, food and cocktail service, this is not it. I also suggest a car since things are a bit more than walking distance and transportation was hard to find when we were there. We will for sure consider staying again!!

Our stay at Papakea Resort A307 was amazing! We woke up to a beautiful oceanfront view every morning where we would eat breakfast and drink coffee. The room was well equipped with things we may need like lawn chairs and towels. The location was conveniently close to restaurants and the beach. The bed and pillows were really comfortable even the pullout bed in the living room was comfortable too! Our only concern was that the TV in the bedroom wasn't working so we would watch TV out in the living room, but other than that, my husband and I would recommend anyone and everyone to stay here during their stay in Maui!

Great location and had enjoyable amenities along with a great view of the ocean. We did have difficulty with comfort in the master suite as the A/C was in the living room and it could get warm but the pull out bed was comfortable to sleep on. Overall, would recommend!

Simply wonderful! From the incredible view, to the beautiful decor and gorgeous grounds, this made for the perfect home away from home. The unit itself was so well-appointed - fully stocked kitchen, laundry, beach chairs and towels, and more - and immaculate, we immediately felt at home. The resort had much to offer as well, and was impeccably maintained. The lanai offers breathtaking views and was our favorite spot for coffee, meals and cocktails. It was so comfortable and a great fit for our family of four. We are already planning a return visit! Thank you!

We loved our stay at this condo! The unobstructed direct ocean view was amazing. We were able to watch so many whales from the lanai. It’s conveniently located near stores, restaurants, and sandy beaches. The condo was super clean and the resort landscaping was very lush and tropical. Condo was beautiful! Views are incredible!! We sat on the balcony and watch the whales every single day, defiantly the highlight of our trip! No complaints at all with the condo. We did have issues checking in because My Perfect Stays hadn’t sent our reservation over to the resort, luckily I noticed the room number in the address line under our reservation but if I hadn’t noticed it we would have waited a very long time because the resort didn’t know which condo we were suppose to be staying in. Over all a beautiful place to stay! Also we walked to the ABC store right by the resort for a great breakfast, just a tip!

Wow! Everything was so clean and so well stocked. The condo itself was so lovely and warm and welcoming. The view was amazing and the sunsets beyond what anyone could describe. One of my favorite things were the pictures of the family that owned the place. I loved seeing them. Thank you for sharing your vacation home with us. We went during Covid right after Maui opened up and everything was so clean and felt very safe. The grounds are beautiful and the pool warm, which i loved. We will for sure be back! If you get the chance rent this place, you will not be sorry you did.
