It sits forty feet from the ocean, so you will hear the lapping of the waves lulling you to sleep at night. You will see amazing sunsets, and often rainbows over the ocean, turtles, dolphins, and whales (in season). The spacious lanai allows you to relax on a chaise lounge, eat your meals overlooking the ocean and enjoy the beauty of the tropical Pacific Ocean.
Papakea A206 features mahogany furniture, split air conditioning, a remodeled kitchen with full size appliances, granite countertops, cable television, WiFi, Hawaiian inspired decorations, a sofa and easy chair, composite flooring, and abundant natural light. The bathroom is remodeled with a tiled shower and granite counter. The unit will accommodate up to 3 people as it has a king size bed and an air bed for an additional guest.
Enjoy cooking in the fully equipped kitchen or have take home meals on the lanai. It is a short walk to local restaurants in the Honokowai area with one of the best fish markets on Maui right across the street. Barbecues are available at the nearby pool.
Papakea has two swimming pools, two hot tubs, two shuffleboard courts and tennis courts, two putting greens and abundant lounge chairs for stretching out by the ocean. You do not need to leave the resort to relax and enjoy yourself on Maui. There is good snorkeling along the reef that borders the complex and a snorkel rental shop nearby. Parking is free for one vehicle; additional vehicles are $5/day. This fee is collected by the Resort's Front Desk staff upon arrival.
