This beautifully remodeled unit features a full oceanfront view looking directly out onto the islands of Molokai and Lanai. It sits forty feet from the ocean, so you will hear the lapping of the waves lulling you to sleep at night. You will see amazing sunsets, and often rainbows over the ocean, turtles, dolphins, and whales (in season). The spacious lanai allows you to relax on a chaise lounge, eat your meals overlooking the ocean and enjoy the beauty of the tropical Pacific Ocean.
Papakea A206 features mahogany furniture, split air conditioning, a remodeled kitchen with full size appliances, granite countertops, cable television, WiFi, Hawaiian inspired decorations, a sofa and easy chair, composite flooring, and abundant natural light. The bathroom is remodeled with a tiled shower and granite counter. The unit will accommodate up to 3 people as it has a king size bed and an air bed for an additional guest. A private washer and dryer are available in the unit for your convenience.
Enjoy cooking in the fully equipped kitchen or have take home meals on the lanai. It is a short walk to local restaurants in the Honokowai area with one of the best fish markets on Maui right across the street. Barbecues are available at the nearby pool.
Papakea has two swimming pools, two hot tubs, two shuffleboard courts and tennis courts, two putting greens and abundant lounge chairs for stretching out by the ocean. You do not need to leave the resort to relax and enjoy yourself on Maui. There is good snorkeling along the reef that borders the complex and a snorkel rental shop nearby.

The unit is as advertised, right at the water. Nicely updated and comfortable for 2 people. The community is low key and feels more populated by return guests and/or owners; lots of people knew each other. No hotel vibe, so no food or drink service available. You hear surf 24/7, often loud! Saw whales while sipping morning coffee every single day. Would happily return.

We have stayed several times at Papakea and have the best time. We love the studio we stay in and have stayed in a one and two bedroom as well. The grounds are beautiful the staff is great and the condo was clean with everything we needed. It's a perfect location to spot some whales and turtles!

Everything was great at the condo, clean well stocked, everything was great!!! My only suggestion is that customers not receive so many texts and email and even phone calls, there was a lot of repetition. For 6 hours time for cleaning I don't feel the need to be told to start dishwasher, put towels in wet and dry piles, take out trash, etc , for 6 hours the small studio should be done by the house keeping service. I also feel loosing 6 hours on two days of the stay is a lot for housekeeping, most places are 12 check out, so just food for thought.

Awesome views of the ocean, exceptional sunsets, convenient walkways, helpful staff, and proximity to nice restaurants - these all made our stay quite memorable. This is our second stay at Papakea, and we will surely come back to the Papakea resort for our next trip to Maui.

The lanai was amazing. We ate on it every morning and evening. The sunsets were amazing, and we saw whales every time we were out on the lanai. The pools were clean, the grounds were immaculate, and the activities were an unexpected bonus (I did the lei making). An ABC store and restaurants are within walking distance. If we are ever able to return we wouldn’t hesitate to book this studio again.

Everything was as pictured and would recommend. While not a big negative since the unit is on the second floor. Beware the unit has see thru curtains off the Lanai that looks into the entire unit and is only an issue in the evening.

A great unit with amazing views. The unit was very clean and stocked with everything we needed from bbq tools to cooler bags and beach chairs. Highly recommend this unit. Well suited for a couple as it is a studio but plenty of room inside.

The condo was a very clean, convenient check in, and beautiful views! Checked off our list perfectly for out honeymoon because we wanted to be close to beaches and its a short drive to front street. ABC store right next door to pickup snacks and souvenirs. At checkout the front desk held our bags for us which let us relax more. The kitchen is stocked for cooking and it has beach supplies. My one and only complaint is not with the property but with the fees. The cleaning fee was excessive and they had the longest laundry list of checkout chores of all the places we stayed on the island. I was willing to pay it for our honeymoon but we will most likely avoid booking with MPS again for future trips if they continue to charge such high fees as all their properties have similar fees.

This was an excellent suite! It is in great condition and very well equipped! In fact, it has been renovated and has new cabinets, countertops and new shower. The breakfast bar was removed to open up the space. The interior small table was also removed, so my only negative was that there was no place to eat inside...although we loved eating g our meals on the lanai. Beautiful view of water and sunsets. We loved falling asleep to the sound of the surf and waves crashing. Such a great spot away from the center. We thoroughly enjoyed this room and location. (Note: beach umbrella was broken when we tried to use it, but wind at nearby beach was too much for that style of umbrella anyway.)

Fantastic location because you're steps away from the water. Walking distance to many restaurants and shopping. The staff on the property were excellent and accommodating. At night, you'll fall asleep to the ocean waves, so there is no need to bring your sleep machine. Highly recommend it, and we would definitely stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was great -- gorgeous sunset view off the balcony, and just a few steps to the water. Very close to larger beaches, including spots with great snorkeling. The condo had all the amenities we needed, including a well-appointed kitchen and beach gear.

This condo was perfect for our stay in Maui. The view is amazing and there’s a non-crowded beach accessible from the resort. The room has beach chairs, a cooler bag, and a sun umbrella so you don’t have to buy or rent them. There’s also a grocery store across the street within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.

The views were spectacular and the complex is overall quiet. It has a fun shuffleboard and activities on-site to do! It’s close enough (12 min drive) to Lahaina harbor for snorkel and sunset sails / cruises. We loved being in Hawaii and here :) especially the AC!

We really enjoyed this studio condo unit right smack on the waterfront! We could walk down a few steps and be right on the sandy beach. We could also just enjoy being out on the lanai and watching the sunset, which we did every evening! All the amenities were great - we played pickleball, putt-putt golf, enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi, and of course the beach! Napili Bay is so close by with awesome snorkeling and one morning we were out there with 4 turtles in the bay. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We really enjoyed our week in Maui staying at the Papakea resort. The view from our bedroom was unbeatable! We also enjoyed how well the grounds were kept and how friendly the staff were. You can stay at a fancier resort, but honestly Papakea is located closer to the water than most of the newer resorts and we preferred it here over something like the nearby Westin Resorts. Do not hesitate with the Papakea!

If you’re looking for the perfect romantic getaway for yourself and your partner, book this BnB. I cannot stress how incredible this room was, ESPECIALLY for the price we paid. All of the photos are 100% authentic, and in most cases actually UNDERSELL aspects of the property, such as the view from the Lanai. As this room is branded as a condo, don’t expect room service or housekeeping. However, if you’re ok with making your own bed and cooking a meal or two here and there, this is for you. The couch isn’t the most comfortable thing you’ll sit on, but the TV’s on a swivel mount and the king bed is great! The breakfast bar is comfy, and the lanai is also solid (not the most private, as the beach of the resort is near the foot of the lanai, but it isn’t incredibly frequented. We saw plenty of whales frolicking in the channel between islands from the lanai as we ate breakfast! All in all, if this room is available during your desired window: book it, you won’t want to leave; when you do leave, you’ll miss it.

Clean, comfortable and good location. We enjoyed the view from the balcony. The only issue we had was that the shower head is very short. My boyfriend had to crouch down to get the water on his head. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed in July of 2021 for our 25th anniversary. It was just perfect, the views were amazing and the studio was very clean, kitchen stocked with all the amenities needed. We cooked several breakfast and dinners and sat out on the lanai overlooking the ocean. The split ac keeps the place very cool and the bed was very comfortable. The property is located at The Papakea which is a very beautiful resort and has shuffleboard, BBQ, swimming pool, miniature golf and us in a great central location. We would definitely stay here again.

The view is unbeatable. We were able to snorkel right in front of our building and sunbathe in the recliners. Enough barbecues for no or very short waits, the pool was warm and large enough. The bed was comfortable and the ac was great. Especially loved having a washer and dryer. Would recommend

We had a great time at the Papakea A206. The unit had all the amenities you would possibly need, a great kitchen set up, fabulous view. Great location in Maui, very centered. Everything was in good working order. Only minus was more linens needed, like change of sheets, and definitely more towels, washcloths etc. Parking was an issue down at the section we were located.

This place is an easy walk to coffeeshop, beach and park, local restaurants and the best açaí bowl place in town. They also provided their guests with beach chairs and beach towels, which were nice. Check in and out were easy. This place is highly recommended if you’re planning to have a relaxing and wonderful time in Maui.

The location and view were outstanding. The condo is at the North end of a fairly large complex and this made it quite private with only a few people walking by on the grass in front of the unit. The view is 180 degrees which was one of the best features. The ocean was right outside of our lanai and the sound of the waves at night was awesome. The AC kept us cool in the afternoons. We would love to book this unit again next time we're on Maui.

We really enjoyed our stay and especially loved the view and the location of unit A206. Having a 180-degree view was a priority for us. Another nice thing was that the condo is on the North end of this fairly large complex which meant it was very private and very few people passed by our end of the site. It was quiet and the AC was cold which made for a comfortable stay. We also loved clearly hearing the oven waves as we slept.
We highly recommend and can see ourselves coming back in the future.

We were looking forward to sitting on lanai on the tall swivel chairs shown on website. But the chairs were low and we could not see over railing only through the bars. We called the management people and they talked to owner and got us tall stools and table which we appreciated except they didn’t swivel which made it hard to get up to table. Other then that it has a beautiful view.

We stayed in this unit for the second half of our honeymoon and had a great time. We arrived early but weren’t expecting to get the room until later in the day but they allowed us in the room a few hours early which was really nice. I’m assuming they just rushed to clean the room since they knew we had already “prechecked” in at the front desk but it could have been cleaned a little better prior to our stay. It didn’t seem like the floor was mopped because you could see where food stuff was stuck in certain areas. Also, the fees seem pretty high for this unit. Especially the cleaning fee when they ask you to do the majority of the cleaning prior to leaving. While we didn’t utilize any of the beach items available in the room, the unit did have chairs, umbrella and ice chest which can be really beneficial. The sliding door to the lanai is really stiff and hard to open...maybe it could be improved with a good greasing? The view of this unit is absolutely beautiful and overall was a pleasure staying here and would consider staying again.

From the moment that we walked in this unit took our breath away! All you see is ocean. Slept to the sound of the crashing waves. This studio unit is just the right size for two. We celebrated our 30th anniversary on our second trip back to Maui. From our room, we saw turtles and whales and rainbows. This unit has everything that you would need!! I would like it if the lanai furniture was as it is shown so we could see above the railing. We will be back. Thank you so much !!!

We loved staying in this condo! It was very clean and had a ton of little extras that really made the stay comfortable. The provided beach chairs and towels were perfect and we even saw a turtle on Kaanapali beach using the snorkel equipment they provided. Had really everything we needed in a central location right on the water. We fell asleep to the sound of the ocean waves every night. Myperfectstays checked in with us regularly to make sure the room was up to par and were extremely helpful.

We really enjoyed the brightness and privacy of the unit. Waves rolled in to the sea wall close to the condo. Unit was clean, towels were thick and the condo has lots of beach equipment. Pool and bbq’s were a short walk away. Overall a very nice unit in Papakea. Close to a bus route and restaurants.

Could not be happier! Location (Ocean Front and just north of main Kaanapali Beach) is perfect for us, and the weather could not have been better. The suite still needs a few upgrades - new sliding door like many other suites, and consider bar-height table and chairs on lanai so that you can easily look over the railing at that spectacular view! Those items did not detract from the experience though, and would just help get to the next level.

Very nice setting. Our studio was perfect place for the two of us. Ocean 40’ from our lanai. We looked at all properties throughout the area and none had the appeal of a smaller intimate setting with the oceanfront so close. The price point was amazing for this view. Would not hesitate to book this again.

Everything was great especially with all the beach items available to us in the unit. The location of the unit was nice & quiet being on the end building. The sunsets were lovely and the unobstructed view ideal. I only wish there were 2 comfy lounge chairs on the deck. The other missing feature is an on-site coffee shoppe or cafe, though there were walkable places near by. The property manager was more than attentive, checking in before & soon after we arrived to make sure all was ok. I recommend this place especially if you were interested in cooking in & not needing all the resort like features. I do believe the fees were excessive but that seems to be on par with Maui.

Gorgeous view! Fifth visit to the Island and this was our favorite place to stay. Great location. Walking distance to so many wonderful shops and restuarants. Would not hesitate to book again!

Great space, perfect for a couple and stocked with everything we needed to get out and explore aka beach chairs, coolers, towels etc. The condo was very clean and everything from booking to check-out was super smooth. Appreciated the outstanding communication from the My Perfect Stay team. Only two slight criticisms, the patio furniture wasn’t as pictured. This wouldn’t be a big deal but the furniture that was there sat really low which meant the patio railing obstructed your view to the ocean. We were out there every morning and evening watching the amazing whales so it was noticeable. We put pillows under our butts when sitting out there - a good fix! Also, my husband and I are tall people, +6 feet tall and the shower head is maybe 5’6” lol, so tall people be prepared for some shower squats! Again, just tiny things to be aware of, neither of which would keep us from staying here again, we’d come back in an instant. Thanks so much!

Great Studio

Loved staying in the Studio A206. Everything was pretty much as listed in the description . The weather wasn't the greatest when we arrived in February, but the unit has a Great View and we sat out on the deck even when it rained. Wish the table and chairs outside were taller so there would be no obstruction of the view. Thank You MyPerfectStays. Hope to be back soon.

Absolutely Incredible

Originally, I was hesitant in booking due to the small amount of reviews. HOWEVER, my husband and I are so, so, so happy we booked this unit for our honeymoon!! The view is absolutely incredible. We woke up (almost) every morning to a complete rainbow over the mountains. Yes, it’s not directly on the beach, but so many beaches are within a 5-10 min. walk and even shorter drive. Additionally, this unit was PACKED with amentities that we wouldn’t have even expected. Two tommy Bahama chairs, a sizeable beach cooler, an extremely large insulated beach bag, 2 pairs of snorkel goggles, a curling iron and hair dryer, and so much more! The grounds were beautiful and the bed was comfortable. We will definitely be back!!

This air b&b was wonderful! It was in the perfect location, you can walk to the grocery store or to the delicious food trucks for dinner. The view was spectacular ( I searched high and low for the perfect view and this was it). The bed was super comfy and the A/C was perfect. We will be coming back for sure! This is the ONLY small detail I would change and I mean super small!! I wish they would have a bigger stand in the shower for your shampoo and conditioners. It wouldn’t hold anything without falling to the floor which can kind of get annoying after the fifth time of picking it up. But like I said SUPER small change. Thank you so much for letting us stay!

The apartment was very nice and we really enjoyed our vacation. In fact, it was the best vacation we ever had and part of that experience has to be attributed to the location of the apartment and the amenities.

Amazing Ocean View!

The views were absolutely amazing and just as in the pictures! It was an absolute delight to sleep with the open screen door to hear the ocean right outside. There’s snorkeling right off the beach, we saw a sea turtle, manta Ray, and so many fish! I even saw a whale from the balcony...beautiful! There were beach supplies (chairs, umbrella, snorkel gear, mats, cooler) available in the unit. There was a nice starter kit of supplies with easy shopping at groceries and markets nearby!

The condo was as described. Beautiful views and well maintained. It was quiet and felt very private. We appreciated access to having chairs, umbrella and an ice chest to take with us to some of the local beaches. We enjoyed breakfast on the lanai and the view from our room. It is not a sandy beach outside the room but in the morning the water is low enough to swim in and enjoy. In the afternoon the current is stronger. We found some beautiful sandy beaches just a few miles away. Our favorite was baby beach. Front street with shopping and eating is only about 10 minutes away. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Views from the Lanai!

We had a really nice stay at this condo unit. The pictures are very accurate and the ocean views from the lanai are really what makes this place! Sleeping with the lanai door open listening to the waves crash was amazing. The facilities are well maintained, check-in was very fast and the location is great--ten minute drive to Lahaina and other beaches as well as a supermarket and other stores are about a three minute walk. Would definitely recommend this unit as it's quiet with amazing views!

My husband and I have been coming to Papakea for the past 8 years. This is by far one of our favorite units. The view was incredible, the unit was clean and cozy. It had everything we needed to make breakfast, lunch and dinner! They also kindly left floaties for the pool, coolers for the beach and even awesome beach chairs! We will for sure come back!

Great location, great view, very comfortable bed (better than most places I've stayed). Do pay attention to the fees listed, since there are several and they do add up.

Loved Our Stay

We loved our stay at Papakea! It's located at the northern tip of all the obnoxious Lahaina resorts, so you're away from all the chaos, but close enough to enjoy all the amenities/restaurants/destinations within walking distance. Having a condo so secluded and beachfront was priority #1 with us and this place totally delivered. Extra bonus because the kitchen has a blender. My only point is to read all the fine print before booking. A $149 a night condo is a dream come true in this location, but paying for a $255 cleaning fee for 4 nights/2 people is kinda a (Website hidden by Airbnb) is having to pay extra resort amenities outside of AirBNB. Think of it this way before booking - there are four parties involved in this reservation taking a cut of your money: the condo owner, the resort, AirBNB and the third party company hired by the condo owner to rent it out. Overall, the price is on par, if not better, than everything around us. Just read everything and know what you're going to need to pay beforehand. It's all written out. If its in your budget, this condo is a perfect weekend paradise retreat for two.
