Maui Parkshore 407 Description

Views of the ocean and West Maui Mountains from this condo! This condo’s proximity to the sand offers the best ocean views and a short walk to Kamaole III Beach.

Maui Parkshore 407 does not have A/C, is a 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo on the 4th floor, and can accommodate up to 6 guests. Maui Parkshore does have an elevator for easy access to your condo. Enjoy the ocean views from your private lanai! Step inside through the large lanai window to the open and spacious living room. There's a nice and large flat screen TV, and plenty of seating, plus a queen sleeper sofa for extra sleeping arrangements. The fully equipped kitchen is a great place to make a dine in dinner that you can enjoy while watching the sunset on the lanai. You'll like to stay cool with the ceiling fans throughout the unit and the magical Maui breeze coming in through the expansive lanai window.

The master bedroom has a king size bed with a TV, and a walk-in bathroom that features tile and glass surrounded walk-in shower and a bright vanity. The guest room includes two twin beds and the guest bathroom also has a glass and tile surrounded walk-in shower. Laundry machines are available within the unit for added convenience. Our on-island team provides the following starter items: dish soap, laundry soap, and dryer sheets.

Maui Parkshore Resort is located across the street from Kamaole III Beach, a perfect beach for swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing and spotting sea turtles! It is close to many shops, restaurants, and grocery stores. Located in South Kihei, this resort is close to many Maui top 10 beaches, such as Wailea Beach and Makena Beach. Maui Parkshore features, a nice pool area with relaxing lounge chairs, and BBQ/outdoor dining areas.

We stayed during the 4th of July weekend. There was an ocean swell in the beginning and we had to go to the West beaches (Kapalua/Black rock) a few times. The beach across the street (Kam 3) is gorgeous and always full of families and Keawakapu, Wailea and Maluaka are no more than 15 minute drive and have gorgeous snorkeling. Hike next to the ocean to the Kihei boat ramp (10 mins) to see sea turtles (Honu) beaching. You can see the ocean conditions straight from the lanai and you can hear the life guards warning about surf and rocks. It's amusing hearing people get scolded. Getting to the beach takes 3 minutes on foot. There is a hose to hose off sand in the parking lot and a heated pool with a shower and bathroom, which is where we headed when the surf picked up in the afternoon. Sadly, no hot tub, but I kinda prefer a heated pool with no tub to a cold pool with one. There are grills outside the pool, but local families seem to be barbequing in the park across the street. All our meals were on the lanai, where you can see the sunset, and we enjoyed the golden glow mangoes from Yee's and the local papaya and apple bananas from just about any store. Go with Maui pineapple if you can (not Dole). Get the giant green skin avocados and eat them with garlic salt and a spoon, so creamy. The amenities seemed very new. The washer and dryer were very fast and quiet, though on the smaller side. The induction stove took some getting used to, but I liked how it wasn't making the kitchen even hotter. The furniture and decor were dated but seemed to fit the island vibe. Loved the shopping carts that helped us load and unload our luggage and groceries via the elevator. The trash chute is next to the elevator which is convenient. Their recycling game is pretty meh though: only bottles and cans and you have to go behind the pool to drop them off. There is no A/C, so open the windows and put the ceiling fans on full blast. There is a pull down shade on the lanai to protect against the afternoon sun. They provide a bungee cord to tie it down to the railing, but if the wind is really strong, it rattles. You get an assigned parking space and have to fill out an application and put a permit on your dashboard. You do that by yourself, you don't have to talk to anyone, which is good because I hate spending time checking in. The resident manager seemed quite nosy, coming into the pool and reminding us about the rules, but seemed to mean well. Pretty much everyone else we met at the pool was a tourist, but if you want to meet a local, go to the park across the street. Everything (unit, pool) has a code, which was good as there was no key to haul arround and lose, but it took some time to memorize and not have to look it up from the welcome email they send you. All and all, we really enjoyed our stay. It's not a luxury hotel, but doesn't break the bank either and you get a more down to earth experience.

We were thrilled with the new high-end appliances (Bosch) and the SMEG coffee maker and toaster. It was great to have a washer/dryer in the unit. Upon arrival, we found everything clean and ready for us.

Great stay

We liked the location a lot. The unit is right across the beach and has great view from the lanai. The unit was updated, clean and had all the amenities we needed including beach chairs, towels and umbrella. It doesn't have AC, but cools down quickly after letting the breeze and turning on fans. Would stay again.

This unit was an awesome stay in Kihei Maui. The sink faucet needs repaired; water was spraying from the faucet, but everything else was great. The Resident Manager was helpful and assisted when we required her attendance. I would recommend this unit to anyone travelling with six.

Had a great time, great location. Walking distance to beaches, shops, and restaurants. Condo was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking essentials. The Lanai had a beautiful view of the ocean. There was beach towels, beach chairs, boogie board for us to use. Will definitely visit again.

Loved the location of this property. We were able to walk to several beaches, shops, and restaurants. Facility was clean and the kitchen well stocked with dishes and cooking essentials. The Lanai had a beautiful view. They also had beach chairs, towels, and boogie board. We had an issue with our screen door on the Lanai and they sent a technician right away to fix it. Will definitely visit this property again.

Property is great location, perfect for what we wanted in a place. The beach was right across the street. The property manager was not pleasant, accusing my family and myself of smoking on premises because another gentleman was smoking around us at the shuffle board who was not in our party. I did not appreciate him yelling at me in front of my children when we did not smoke on property.

Perfect Stay

What an absolutely perfect stay! Great central place in Kehei. Comfortable beds, well supplied kitchen and bathrooms. Beach chairs, towels, sand toys for the kids, snorkle stuff for the boys and a cooler to use to take our lunch on the road, which was super helpful. The resident grounds keeper is very strict, but he really keeps the complex extremely well. Would highly recommend this stay.

We were very pleased with this property. There were little extras like a binoculars, that made the amenites complete. Our children (Who were in 2 other units at this complex) came up to our lanai for a nightcap and the view. We loved it!

We were very happy with our property. There were extra touches that impressed us. We were happy with the supplies that were in the unit like spices, paper products, snorkel equipment and beach towels. The extras that we loved were numerous plug ins for our phones, ipads, etc. Also the binoculars was a nice touch. Although there was some instruction on the operation of the TV, we still struggled with that. Overall extremely happy!

We spent 12 days here. It was the perfect location, right across the street from Kamaole 3 beach. Every day we either went snorkeling at Kamaole 2, or swimming at Kamaole 3. The condo had everything we needed for the beach - beach towels, snorkels, fins, beach chairs, beach towels and boogie boards. The kitchen was super well stocked. They have everything from the basics to a waffle maker! The property management company was easy to get in touch with and responded quickly when we had a question or concern. We look forward to returning to this property next time we visit Maui!

Perfect location, great view!

We loved our 12 day stay at Maui Parkshore. It is right across the street from Kamaole 3 beach. The lanai is huge and overlooks the beach and pool. The kitchen has everything you need and the condo was fully stocked for the beach with snorkels, fins, boogie boards, chairs and a cooler. We will be back to enjoy more time in paradise!

This was a great location in Kihei. It seems to be the older section, but this complex was very clean and the workers on ground were committed to their work. The view from the balcony was wonderful and easily accessible to walk to the beach across the street and down the block to many stores and small restaurants. The only issue we had was that the washer was terrible. It made the loudest clanking noise during the cycle, so much so that we should have kept the window and doors closed, but without any air conditioning that was not a possibility. So surrounding neighbors were probably bothered by the very loud sound and it was not possible for us to stay in our unit while the washing machine was going because it was so bad. I was very disappointed that they did not let me know this before I arrived, and they did not compensate us for the inconvenience. They were apologetic but didn't compensate us in anyway which is the only really disappointing part of this trip. When we called them they said that there was a new washer arriving conveniently the next day after we left. So I felt very deceived. Again other than no air conditioning that was the only other thing that was disappointing.

Location, location!

A very nice condo. Well stocked kitchen. Great towels and bedding. Furniture a little dated with a broken chair. One negative was the owners have lots of locked cupboards so there was no place to store pantry goods.
