Mahana 308 is a 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom condo with free Wi-Fi, central AC, and an in unit washer and dryer. Unit 308 sleeps up to 4 guests. The bedroom is equipped with king-size bed and the living room with a queen-size sleeper sofa for additional sleeping space. The bathroom is across the hall from the bedroom and features an updated shower. Enjoy ocean views from your private lanai and close proximity to some of Maui's best beaches.
The kitchen has been remodeled with Australian river rock countertops and custom cabinets. Recently, more updates were completed, including the addition of new artwork, mirrors, décor, chair cushions, a brand new bed in the bedroom and a refreshed paint job.

The Mahana at Ka’anapali is a well-known upscale resort located at the north end of Ka’anapali Beach. The Mahana is close to the Ka’anapali Resort area and Whalers Village Shopping Center. You will enjoy the convenience of nearby restaurants, cafes, boutiques, and a local grocery store. The sand levels at the beach located in front of the resort can vary depending on the conditions and tides, but there is a sandy entry to the ocean. Please check in with local experts on weather and swimming conditions before entering the water. The resort also features a pool and tennis court on the property. Pool towels can be found near the lobby area and are available for all guests. There are no additional resort or parking fees.

Although we have stayed many times on Maui, this was our first stay at the Mahana. It is a great location, right on the water. We stayed in the summer, but it would have a great view for whale watching in the winter. Location is close to many of our favorite beaches in Maui. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. The complex is quiet with plenty of parking in the parking lot. Short walk to Duke's for Hula pie! Management company good to work with. The view really is amazing from this unit.

The condo was perfection. Clean, maintained and in a prime location. The view from the living room and bedroom were exactly what we were looking for on our trip to Maui. Afternoon sunsets, morning rainbows and the ocean waves crashing just below us. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. Walking distance to the beach, a beautiful pool and the food truck park is walking distance as well. A quick 10 minute drive gets you to the middle of Lahaina with all kinds of shopping, restaurants and more. We had the best visit and would love to stay in this condo again very soon!

Our best stay on Maui to date. When we were finally able to drag ourselves away from the absolutely incredible view from the lanai, it was so easy to get to numerous places. Access to the beach walk was just minutes away. An easy 15ish minutes to amazing snorkeling at Airport Beach, a few minutes walk to Duke’s, and a short drive to Lahaina or swimming/snorkeling in the bays the opposite direction. Mahana will be our first choice on our return trips, and My Perfect Stays will be our first choice to book through.

I’ve traveled to Maui several times and this is by and far the best place I’ve stayed! The location to beach was phenomenal. My husband and I listed to the waves as we fell asleep. It was clean, conveniently located, and really felt more like a home than a hotel. I have dietary restrictions so having a full kitchen was a plus. I loved the full window in the living room. The views were breathtaking. My husband is a Penny pincher and totally surprised me when he said we should plan to stay here yearly!! Therefore, we will be back. beautiful experience. The condo was exactly as shown on the website. The palm trees and ocean view were spectacular and the sunsets amazing. The pool and hot tub were clean and for our stay, not crowded. It was great to walk on the beach and we lucky enough to see a couple turtles in the water. We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful location! We’ve stayed at Mahana several times and always love the nearby boardwalk, restaurants, and of course the beach. Plenty to walk to within 1-2 miles. The condo was nicely stocked with beach toys, chairs, and pantry basics. The toiletries were minimal so definitely bring your own! Wonderful place, we’d absolutely stay again.

Amazing ocean views straight ahead out both the lanai & the floor to ceiling living room. As a bonus to that view, the Mahana is only about 30-35 steps from the edge of the ocean. The location is also excellent, with the Kaanapali Boardwalk right next to the Mahana & the Food Truck city location about a 3-4 minute walk one way & Duke’s the other way. Nice Maui Vacation.

We found ourselves kind of mesmerized by the water. From the lanai we could see huge sea turtles in the surf and the sunsets were beautiful. We saw people snorkeling and surfing right out front. There isn’t much of a sandy beach though because the condo sits very close to the water so getting snorkel gear on could be tricky. We spent our days exploring the beautiful sandy beaches nearby, especially to the north. The condo is well maintained and well equipped. I was glad that beach chairs, umbrella and towels were provided. We did simple meal prep for breakfast and picnic lunches. I loved having a washer and dryer and will pack lighter next time. Free parking was easy and the lot was shaded by huge trees. We would stay here again.

Renting this unit made for an amazing honeymoon. The floor to ceiling windows in living room and lanai off the bedroom to watch sunsets was unreal!! Unit was well stocked with cookware and grilling utensils. Bed was also super comfortable. All around very happy and would visit again.

Overall a beautiful condo. The beach right in front of building is very narrow and doesn’t allow room to sit. So you have to walk a bit to get to the beach. The patio and front room and bedroom windows overlook the ocean and make you feel like you are on the beach. Huge plus!!

Mohana is a very nice place for a home base for exploring Maui. Condo was very clean, everything was there. Just a few nitnoids. This part of Kaanapali is very windy. Lanai so close to beach is awesome. Beach access is wonderful. This was first time back to Maui in 8 years, so the shock of the gnarly traffic is too much. Trying to become Oahu? Need to pick an area and stick to it to avoid the onrush, all day long.

We had a wonderful stay at this condo. The kitchen is well stocked, a grocery store and restaurants within walking distance and the view is incredible. Do be aware that the palms just outside the windows do block a little bit of the ocean view, but they also provide shade in the late afternoon which we appreciated. We saw whales (so many whales) from the lanai as well as turtles. Property manager did everything they could to be helpful but we never needed anything from then. The only disappointment was slight and it was that there was no maid service at all during a 10 day stay. Having someone come in once during that time with clean linens would have been nice. I don't think you can go wrong with this place and we are already talking about going back. The condition of the beach while we were there was not conducive to snorkling right off the beach in front of the building. Entry into the water was much better about a 5-10 minute walk south.

The condo was exactly as promised everything we needed was there and available not to mention clean and spotless the only little hiccup a technician cleaned the HVAC and the air didn't work right after so I went down the the resort lobby asked for help and it was fixed within the hour I would definitely rent this unit again

A short walk to Kaanapali Beach and grocery stores nearby. 10 minute drive to the nightlife of Lahaina and other beaches as well. We rented a car for half of our stay to be able to go to other beaches and do the road to Hana, but we were happy to have the other half of our trip carless to be able to explore and walk around more. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of the necessities: a blender, pots, pans, etc. There were beach towels, sun screen, beach chairs, boogie boards and snorkel gear for kiddos. Everything was as promised. Really enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen and stock of standard spices. Internet very fast. The neighborhood had a few restaurants (Duke’s was great) and we hit the food trucks out front one night. Walking path going by Duke’s is gorgeous. Pool was beautiful. Bed was super comfortable. Definitely do recommend.

Pros: - Very well stocked kitchen that had the necessities so you don't have to buy it (e.g. toilet paper, more than 1 set of paper towels, extra garbage bags, washing machine & dishwasher tabs). We've stayed at places before that literally give you 1 of these items which can be a pain! - Comfortable bed and nice Smart TVs - You can't beat the views of the Mahana... we've stayed here 3 times (different rooms each time) and the view from this unit is great. Cons: - Not really any; only watch-out is that the owners seem to be really concerned about stains on towels from makeup (towels are white, minus black-ones they have for makeup removal) and sand in the unit. We're overly clean-people ourselves but were extra cautious as it seems like the unit owners had a concern on this. Just a heads up if you have little kids - given it's on the beach keeping sand out is easier said than done!

Unit was right on the water so enjoyed the view & hearing the waves crash. Beach in front of the unit is rocky but a swim beach was a short walk away. Restaurants, food trucks (which were great) groceries, rental cars were all a short walk so location was good. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware & basic spices. Enjoyed our stay!

The best thing about the property is the view from the unit. Floor to ceiling windows right by the ocean. You can see turtles, fish and mongoose from your window! Beautifully decorated and super clean. Fully stocked kitchen (if you choose to cook lol) And two markets close by. We went to Lahaina one day but you really don't need to leave. Everything you need is within walking distance.

We booked this condo primarily for the location, which turned out to be even better than we expected. Walking distance to the grocery store and several restaurants as well as the beach! We were so impressed with the condo itself. Excellently stocked kitchen and other supplies for beach and exploring. We rarely find a bed as comfortable as our own at home, and this one was!! Literally everything was perfect. Will be booking this property again. And if the owners are ever interested in selling, we'd be interested in buying! Mahalo for the perfect vacation!

We love this condo! Upon entering the first thing you see is a breathtaking view of the ocean, which is right outside the living room window and adjoining lanai. We fell asleep on the super comfortable bed to the sound of the waves crashing every night. The sunsets are awe-inspiring and the perfect backdrop for cocktails on the lanai. We walked to the beach and found many great places to set up and enjoy our time in the ocean! Everything you need for the perfect Maui vacation is in this condo and My Perfect Stays was very responsive. We can't wait to come back to Mahana 308!!

The view was great, the location was great, and the condo was excellent. The kitchen was well-stocked and the condo was very clean. The king size bed was very comfortable my daughter and her boyfriend even said that mattress on the hide-a-bed was good. I would definitely rent the condo again.

Loved the location!! It was so great waking up to the sounds of the ocean waves every morning. Loved the privacy we had on our balcony and being able to walk downstairs directly onto the beach. The only very small con is that there is no light in the balcony, so you are unable to eat dinner there.

We loved our stay at Mahana 308. The location is great-if the beach out front (which is slightly rocky/has a small lava shelf) isn't what you're looking for, there are tons of other beaches to quickly walk or drive to. Within walking distance is a coffee shop/grocery store/food truck park/gas station/couple of restaurants. Unit is equipped with 2 chairs, 3 boogie boards, beach umbrella, 2 beach towels and small backpack cooler. Washer and dryer were so convenient to have. Bed is super comfortable. Kitchen is very nice and allowed us to cook breakfast almost daily as well as several dinners. Deck is great-we enjoyed dinner outside several evenings and drank coffee and watched whales turtles and dolphins in the mornings. Parking is convenient and check in was incredibly simple. The my perfect stays staff truly made this vacation one of the best we've had with their attention to detail and excellent communication.

Mahana 308 was beyond our expectations! The views are amazing! We sat on our Lani and watched the whales every day! It is comfortably furnished and fully stocked for all our needs. We spent 2 weeks here and are already planning to come back! We had a small issue in the condo and MyPerfectStays came and fixed it right away. It was so easy to deal with MyPerfectStays! They even set us up with a on island concierge before our trip who helped us book awesome adventures!

I highly recommend this place! It was exactly as pictured but really even nicer the an expected. It has absolutely everything you might need for the week. Zach called us right away to make sure we were happy. We had some trouble getting the air conditioning running and one of the sliding doors didn’t work properly but he had maintenance come and fix it within hours and then let us know it was done and working. The view is gorgeous and we were just very pleased! I would not hesitate to stay here again!

We just loved staying here, a magic place just made our Christmas! Just a magic location the surf is just below our bedroom and living room with 3rd floor up unhindered view past swaying Coconut Palms. Emasculate clean apartment with all the amenities large bathroom with washer and dryer. Fantastic Kitchen with all the toys. The place had great energy, great people to deal with. Great pool and Spa, walking distance to food trucks down the road as well as Dukes. Thank you so much for having us, Will be back!

Really enjoyed our stay and the unit is lovely. Just like I expected from other reviewers. Close to store, coffee, farmers market. Great. It was windy these two weeks and it is like a wind tunnel at the pool. That is unfortunate. The pool water was warm .

Very impressed with this unit! I was hesitant to stay at such a large property, as I didn't want the hotel feel of riding up and down the elevator, but since this unit is on the 3rd floor, it made for a small building feel. Fast access to shore. Beach is situated right in front of the property. Not super swimmable directly in front, but a short walk down the sandy beach and there is lots of beach to pick from. Love that there were very few kids/families here. Might have just been the time of year, but I saw mostly couples,. The neighboring buildings down the beach seem to be more popular for families. Unit itself was stunning. The floor-to-ceiling windows make the space seem even more open and like you are right out on the water the entire time. Plus, since it's on the 3rd level, you really feel like you are on the ocean. Waves were loud, but I loved it. I can see how some people would be kept up by it, but just close the sliding door and it should be better. I picked this place over others because it has a/c. I am from Maui and Lahaina is hot all times of the year, so if you can't handle the heat/humidity, be sure to get a place that does. This unit's a/c cooled very quickly and is central air. Kitchen fully stocked with appliances, silverware, utensils, etc, but I didn't see any cooking items, like olive oil, condiments, etc. TBH, I used the kitchen to heat things up, but didn't do much "cooking" so it's likely that I just didn't see it. Decor is old Hawaiian, but very clean. Kitchen and bath are modern, which I liked. My only complaint, which I brought up to management, is that the comforter smelled musty. When I spoke to the cleaning lady, she said that the unit does get humid because it's right on the ocean and when it doesn't have the opportunity to get cleared out, things get musty. I suggested a good shot of Febreze to solve the issue. The sheets, however, smelled fresh! Overall, I had an incredible stay! It was perfect for me - needed tp be right on the ocean, so I could walk the beach in the morning, which btw, is about a mile stretch down to Kaanapali, so great exercise! Also didn't want the hustle of a larger property. Needed a/c, updated unit, and unobstructed view. Check, check, and check! Mahalo nui loa! I will definitely be back!

We were surprised and delighted by how beautifully decorated and well-stocked this lovely condo was. From the gray, brown and rose shades of the granite kitchen counters to the Oriental rug and realistic sea turtle sculpture in the living room to the master bath with the huge stone shower and all the supplies---hair dryer, curling iron, make-up mirror. (The bathroom lighting is perfect for applying makeup). The sound of the waves beneath the lanai that you can reach from both the master bedroom and living room soothed, and the candles for the outdoor tables so that you can watch the sun sink below the waves between Molokai and Lanai as you eat dinner--perfection. There were two TV flat screen TVs, and one of the best collections of books that included everything from the history of the island to identifying the flora and fauna to one of my all-time favorites books, Montgomery’s Soul of an Octopus. The AC worked great to cool the place down while we were away snorkeling at Black Rock or Napilli Bay during the day, and the blackout curtains were great for sleeping in. The kitchen had everything—spices, different types of wine glasses, sharp cutting knives, paper towels, aluminum foil—you name it. There were also plenty of fluffy white bath towels and beach towels---all of which could be easily washed in the washer and dryer in the unit. The tropical floral arrangements looked real, and added just that extra touch. It was romantic perfection, and I don’t get the people who complain about the palm tree outside the living room window. The tree provided a stunning tropical foreground to the sea, waves and islands behind it. We plan to come back!

My wife and I had a wonderful time staying at Mahana 308. The room had a wonderful ocean view and the resort itself was also very nice, clean, and well kept up. The only downside is that the beach directly in front of the resort has some rocks and coral which makes it unswimable. However, there is a good section of beach about 200 yards down the beach. The resort is in a great location with a lot of fun shops, restaurants, and activities very close. Overall, had a wonderful time and would definitely come back.

We really enjoyed the location. It was easy to get to nearby beaches and surf spots. It was nice and low-key without the crowds of a big resort and had great views of the ocean. Very basic amenities but a nice home base to explore that area and comfortable setup to relax at night.

We loved having the ocean view from the living room and the bedroom. The condo was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped, although we didn’t use it much because Dukes was just a few minute walk down the beach. The pool is nice and rarely was it super crowded during our stay. The ‘beach’ right in front of the condo really isn’t good for swimming, sunbathing or anything, however if you take a quick walk down to the area in front of Dukes and even further towards Black Rock there are plenty of good places to enjoy the ocean. Several great snorkeling spots are close - Old Airport Beach, Honoloa Bay, Slaughterhouse Beach. Back to the condo - great to have A/C and the small washer and dryer, along with boogie boards and beach chairs. Loved this location and will definitely be back!

We loved our stay here! The ocean and palm tree views are amazing and you can hear the waves crashing at night. We loved watching the amazing sunsets on our lanai. The location is perfect for getting around easily to various beaches and restaurants. You can also walk along the beach trail to Dukes restaurant and Kahekili beach, which is an amazing beach. The beach outside the unit is really narrow and the sea was kind of rough, but the pool and hot tub were really nice and the beach widens as you walk/drive south. The bed was super comfy and the AC works great. We had a wonderful time!

Not a bad place. Bed was ok, but not super comfortable. The place was nice and very clean, but they were super strict about quiet hours. We got yelled at by resort staff and they were incredibly rude when we were playing cards on our balcony with just two of us, not being super loud at around 11 pm. They also expect you to turn over the place on your own, (wash dishes/hang laundry/etc) despite paying a cleaning fee. If you’re planning on staying up past 10 pm maybe not the best place to stay. For the price next time we will probably just stay at the Sheraton or Westin down the street.

This unit was everything we expected and more. It is tastefully decorated, comfortable and very clean. You will find everything you need including items for the beach. In addition to the usual kitchen items, you will find salt, pepper, a few other seasonings etc. We cooked breakfast every morning and enjoyed eating on the lanai. This is because the view is better than you will find in any restaurant. We could see whales while we were eating! Each night we fell asleep to the sounds of the ocean. I cannot say enough positive things about Mahana 308. Paradise!

Incredible!! We were very impressed with Mahana #308 and I highly recommend staying here! This condo is even more stunning in person than the pictures portray. Everything was as advertised and very clean. I read a few comments regarding the palm tree blocking the view and I have no idea why it bothered some people. I think the palm trees added to the fabulous sunrises and sunsets and in NO WAY detracted from the spectacular view! We spent hours snorkeling within easy walking distance of the condo. We enjoyed drinks, food, and many happy hours at Dukes, which was close by. The check in process was easy and the property management staff checked in with us during our stay, which was a nice, personal touch. We hope to be back again one day!

Very lovely condo. All the furnishings were updated and in great condition. Would stay here again. Have stayed at The Mahana the last ten years. First time using VRBO. Always before have gone through Aston Hotel. Everything was very easy and had no problems during the stay.

We stayed in unit 208 which was a one bedroom with a king size bed. We had a great lanai overlooking the ocean. It was on the second floor and you could hear the ocean all night. There was a kitchenette with modern appliances and all the amenities you need to cook a meal. The unit was very spacious and we just loved it. When we go back again, we will definitely ask for this unit again. Very clean, comfortable and felt like home, only a little smaller. There weren't any shops in the premises. We had a rental car and drove to the grocery store which was close and bought our supplies and munchies. Bought some wine and beer at the store and stocked up. Hotels close had dining options which we used. Dukes was at the hotel next door. There are BBQ grills by the pool for your use. There was a little snack counter by the pool for a quick lunch, but no alcohol was available on the premises. On your first morning, do go to the concierge orientation. Susan Ramos has been doing this for the past 20 years, and you will receive better prices on all the top activities if you book them with through Susan. Susan was very informative and will give you great tips. If there is a must see show, and you will not be disappointed, go and see ULALENA at the Maui Theatre. We recommend The PACIFIC WHALE FOUNDATION for snorkeling at Molokini, which is also recommended on Tripadvisor. We saw bunches of dolphin and sea turtles plus all the colorful fish while snorkeling. We also took the Sugar Cane Train from Kaanapali to Lahaina which was cute and fun. Our trip to Maui was great.
Mahana 308 - Exceeded Expectations!

This sums it up: If we ever have a chance to come back to Maui, we will call Buzz first, find out when unit 308 is available, and book our flights accordingly. There is no need to shop around. We stayed at Mahana 308 for 8 days this April, and loved everything about it. The pictures and description posted on Buzz's website are accurate, but you really can't do it justice unless you see it in person. The moment we walked in, we said "WOW", and that feeling didn't change through our stay. Definitely exceeded our expectations, and at a rate that was certainly competitive, and probably better than what we would have paid with others. Mahana 308 has been through a recent remodel with all the decor feeling new, clean, and "up-to-date". Everything was in good repair - we didn't see anything damaged or broken. We couldn't come up with a single thing to complain about. There are tons of "supplies" provided. You need to bring clothes and toiletries, and that's it. There's LOTS of linens (incl. house AND beach towels), as well as all of the dishes or kitchen tools you might need. There was also condiments and consumables in the fridge/cupboards left by previous renters. They are "use at your own risk", but we had no issues, and nothing was expired. There was even a bunch of beach toys (boogie boards, snorkeling gear, sand shovels/buckets, beach chairs, and more). The Aston Mahana property is perfect for all kinds of activities. You sit on the third floor maybe 50' from the water, spend the day/night listening to crashing waves, and watch sunsets every evening. A quick jaunt down the stairs/elevator and you're on some of the nicest sand we saw on the trip. There's no swimming directly in line with the condo (too much corral), but if you go 100' to the right or 200' to the left, the swimming is great. In the afternoon/evening, the sun shines on the lanai if you want to get some sun there. We were lucky enough to see whales on two occasions from the lanai. If you want to get out for a walk or run, the Mahana sits at the North end of a 1.5 mile boardwalk that goes all the way down to the Sheraton at Black Rock. We walked that path a few times and took in some awesome snorkeling. Tons of fish and sea creatures to see at Black Rock. There's a lot of great off-site amenities as well. Java Jazz across the street is a MUST-do for breakfast, and there's a great grocery store in that plaza as well. The pool at the Aston Mahana is not amazing, and you might be tempted to go to the neighboring properties for their more extravagant play areas. We did that once, but for the rest of the trip just stayed at the Mahana pool. The other places were super busy, and didn't feel all that clean - the Mahana, while not flashy, was clean and nice and good for a swim between suntanning. Since unit 308 is rent by owner, we didn't have much interaction with property staff, but when we needed help with directions or something, they were really helpful and friendly. There is also an Expedia person on-site to help with booking activities. They offer a breakfast/intro on your first morning, which we did, and it gave us lots of ideas for things we'd like to do or see. I could go on, but I think I'm done. We'll definitely be back!

We just returned home after spending 13 days in Maui, 8 of which we spent at the Mahana. We moved to the Aston Papakea Resort after the 8 days since we decided at the last minute to extend our stay in Maui. We reserved a "premium" 1 bedroom, 1 bath unit at the Mahana and it was fantastic. The kitchen had updated appliances and it was a joy to prepare meals there. We stayed in Unit 208 and would love to stay there again should we return to Maui again. The staff was very accommodating and this was our second time staying at the Mahana. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants a location right on the beach, extremely nice accommodations and close to everything. Kudos to the ownrs of Unit 208 for updating the unit in such a beautiful way.

This condo has an incredible oceanfront view, a spacious layout, and just about the best location on West Maui. The place was outside of the craziness of the mall area, but close by so that you could enjoy the quiet but walk to the action. Great communication and easy check in and out. Highly recommend! Expect rainbows on the ocean off your lanai almost every morning!

We loved our time staying at the Mahana in Room 308. We were there for 13 wonderful nights.The view is breathtaking from the living room, kitchen,bedroom and on the lanai. You're feet from the ocean and hear the waves day-and-night. The snorkeling right off shore was some of the best experienced on the island. It's best if you walk a few 100 yd south of the property where the water is clear and the reef is a 100 yd off shore at most. The fish and coral were abundant and we snorkled almost every day. When you're done snorkeling sit on your beach chair and watch the best sunsets of your life. The staff are friendly the kitchen is fully equipped there are ample towels, cleaning supplies and most anything else you could need during your stay on Maui. The property is quiet without the frenetic activity of the large resorts. We enjoyed eating breakfasts on the lanai and cooking many of our meals in the condo. The pool was lovely and the hot tub amazing. We would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you for helping us have such a memorable vacation on Maui.

This condo was great for our little family of 3. I was pleasantly impressed to get a call the second day there asking if are needs are met and how the condo was for us. That was some good customer service! I really appreciate the washer/dryer in the unit and the full kitchen. I understand some reviewers had mentioned the huge palm tree in front of the window as not so great. I hear what they are saying as you walk in and it's front and center in the main window, however, we thought it was pretty and you still had a super ocean view! We also appreciated the available sand toys/activity bin on the deck. Thanks!

I can not even begin to express how beautiful this view is. I coud easily throw a baseball into the ocean from the balcony, and I know that the newer complexes are not allowed to build that close to the ocean, so you might not get a better view of the ocean in all of Maui. Every night we slept like babies right next to the ocean. The sunsets are gorgeous here on the balcony. The pool and hot tub, while small were both nice and kept up well. The place had everything you need, even cooking oils and spices, a washer and dryer, and even had laundry soap and dryer sheets for your own use! It was incredibly clean and kept up well. I feel like this is the perfect place for couples who want to come chill, who will enjoy the sunset, and during the day spend a lot of time on the nearby beach. To the left of the comlex, the beach is awesome for snorkeling and swimming. We also really appreciated the amazing support of the staff here. We had an issue with a drunk guest upstairs that was loud in the middle of the night. I emailed the staff, and within 2 hours, they had replied, and no more noise the rest of the stay. Now, that being said, the place could use some updating. It kinda looks like a set for "Golden Girls goes to Hawaii" and next door you can get upgraded appliances, and updated decor, huge pools, however, for a steeper price and nothing will beat this quiet and gorgeous view, great staff, and relaxing place. For us, it was the best thing, it's a great deal, and it ended up being the perfect haven for us.

What a beautiful apartment! Nicely decorated, comfortable, excellent kitchen, good quality linens, and an amazing view, everything just as described. We especially loved the gorgeous palm tree right outside the floor to ceiling windows, it framed the sunset perfectly. Sitting on our balcony off the bedroom and watching the waves was so relaxing. The location is so convenient for groceries, fresh fish and the farmers' market, the rest of the Kaanapali area, as well as Lahaina. We had many nice dinners out, but our favorite was Pacific'O, right on the beach in Lahaina - highly recommended! Dukes Restaurant is within walking distance and very good also. The beach is a bit narrow in front of the building, but wider a bit further down towards Dukes Restaurant, where there is also a nice flat area for entering the ocean. The pool is nice but there are no umbrellas for the lounge chairs. Luckily the lounge chairs on the lawn are shaded by the palm trees. I must thank the staff at My Perfect Stays for excellent and responsive service when we had questions and when we couldn’t get the DVD player to work. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend this apartment.

The unit is great at the end of the building. Lots of privacy and very low key so it seems like not a lot of people around compared to a busy resort. Next door to a nice walking path. The unit is oceanfront with nice views but palm frauns are blocking the living area view. Still good views. The waves were large enough that you could hear the surf throughout the night. Located within walking distance to grocery store and restaurants

This condo was exceptionally clean with a beautiful ocean view and had everything we needed, including a well- stocked kitchen, beach chairs, beach umbrella, etc. Our activities included a Lahaina luau, the incredible Road to Hana on a tour bus, a dinner cruise, and the Elvis impersonator show. We enjoyed them all. Of course, we loved the beautiful beaches and walked the boardwalk along the beach a few times. We had great lunches at Longhi's in Lahaina and did some shopping, too. We had a wonderful time and hope to book this wonderful condo again.

Buzz has a very nice condo. His description is very helpful. The condo is very updated. The pictures will give you an accurate picture of the condo. It is comfortable & the owner has provided all of the basis needs in generous quantities. We had dishes, pots, paper towels, toilet paper, tissues, detergent, & dishwasher liquid. We also found plastic wrap, alum foil, & ziploc bags for our use plus many condiments in the cupboard. Some of this may have been left by previous renters, but we appreciated all of it. We have stayed at the Mahana twice before this rental. This was our best rental. he whale watching from this 3rd floor condo was great. We saw whales very day. This was our best rental. The poolside grills are great & very clean at the Mahana.

We stayed 12 nights in unit #308 and had the best stay. The condo is very nicely decorated and has everything you may need from toilet paper to spices to beach toys. The view is amazing from both the living room and the bedroom. Every morning when you wake up you see ocean and blue sky and palm trees. I'm really going to miss that. The pool and Jacuzzi are both very nice. There never seems to be a problem getting a chair. They have great grills right next to the pool to use. The staff seem to keep everything in tip top shape. Buzz is easy to deal with. I would definitely book with him again if I get a chance to go back to Maui.

I carefully research and plan our vacations. When we opened the door and walked into Buzz's Mahana, my husband exclaimed, "Wow, you really found a great one!" The pictures are accurate; however, only being there can give you that expansive feeling of being right on the ocean. We watched hearty athletes swim from Black Rock to past where we were. We could see turtles feeding below us in the water from the balcony. Access to the condo was very convenient. Parking was close and free. The King bed was comfortable; great shower, newly remodeled. New sofa in living room. Kitchen was updated and well-stocked with items both in the refrigerator and in the pantry. In fact, check what was left before you grocery shop. Grocery store right across the street seemed more reasonable than the Safeway in Lahaina. Buzz was super to deal with; responsive to any issues of condo maintenance. Housekeeper was very diligent in making certain that the condo was in pristine condition, working about 45 minutes past our check-in time cleaning up after previous guests. Thanks to Buzz for a great Maui vacation. You can't go wrong with this beauty!

My husband and I have just got back from our honeymoon in Maui and from staying at this oceanfront condo. What can I say? It was more amazing, more beautiful, and more breathtaking than we expected. We already discussed the fact that when we are coming back, we are coming back HERE! And have already stated this fact to everyone we know. We were incredibly impressed with the following: 1) The owner, easy to work with, very responsive and helpful. 2) The condo: Spacious, modern, clean, with tons of amenities that we did not even expect. All the kitchen items one may need to cook, (pots, pans, dishes, appliances), multiple sets of beach towels, beach chairs, and more.... Our FAVORITE parts of the condo were floor to ceiling windows and the most beautiful balcony that you can enter from the living room and the bedroom. This couldn't have been more perfect, you are on the third floor, which is perfect! You are not bothered by people who may be takng strolls on the beach, but you are just close enough to enjoy watching the waves roll onto the shore. Sitting on this balcony in the morning to have breakfast and before we went to bed was very special and very memorable for us. We felt that if we were on a higher floor, we wouldn't have enjoyed the feeling and the view as much as we did. The views are gorgeous, the sunset are perfectly visibly from this vantage point. Just perfect. I kept videotaping from the balcony because I wanted to always have the reminder of this view. I miss it just thinking about it. Would absolutely come back!!! Thank you!

Where do I begin? My husband and our two teenage daughters stayed at this condo for our first visit to Maui. As everyone else has stated it is BEAUTIFUL, clean, perfect for a family of 4!! The views are amazing, loved sitting on the lanai watching the sunsets and the turtles right below us, we saw so many whales!!! Anybody who is trying to decide between a hotel or condo, this condo should be your choice!! Also as stated Buzz is great to work with couldn't be any easier to deal with.Thank you for renting out your condo! We spent alot of time at Lahaina , did 2 excursions with the Pacific Whale Foundation, (highly recommend) snorkled at Molokini, did the Road to Hana, spent a night at Whaler's Village which is very close to Mahana. My only regret of this trip is that we didn't stay long enough, and I hope someday we will be back.Thanks again.

This was our 5th trip to Maui, and by far, the best! Buzz, thought of everything. He was very generous with all our basic needs and wants. The up-to-date kitchen was well stocked and the spacious living rm.and bedroom with windows from fl. to ceiling were spectacular..Vibrant rainbows during the day, and the moon and stars lit up the night skies. Spent hrs.sitting on the lanai watching the whales at play and turtles riding the waves. Slept like peaceful,contented babies with the sounds of the ocean crashing on the beach below.Thank you, Buzz, for your generosity and allowing us to share your beautiful home. Looking forward to our return.

I cannot say enough good things about our time in this lovely condo. We had never been to Maui and despite the fact that I did a lot of research, we were still a little nervous about renting a condo in an area we didn't know at all. I wanted to post this review for anyone who might be experiencing something similar. As many other people have already posted, the condo is EXACTLY as it appears in the photos (or I should possibly say the photos don't do it justice, I found it to be more beautiful in person) and was extremely clean. The building itself was very quiet and pleasant. It was one of the most peaceful and relaxing places I have ever stayed. Early mornings and sunsets on the lanai were just heavenly. Also, the kitchen is well-stocked in terms of cooking supplies, dishes, etc. - and even things like sugar, salt, and non-perishables that other guests have left. There are plenty of towels and extra stock of everything from toilet paper, paper towels, tissues and even laundry detergent and fabric softner. There are many nice amenities for the beach as well that other guests have left in the past (we ended up leaving snorkel gear) that contribute to truly needing to bring nothing but yourself and your bathing suit. Buzz was extremely helpful - gave us great directions on how to get there, excellent suggestions on things to do and offered any other assistance we needed. We felt at home in the condo the minute we walked in and it was one of the best vacations we have ever had. We did everything from the Road to Hana, horseback riding in south Maui, snorkeling, enjoying the town of Lahaina and some of the best food we have ever had (definitely recommend Mama's Fish House, the Pineapple Grill and Leilani's), and general relaxing on the beach. I highly recommend this condo and working with Buzz. We can't wait to figure out when we can go back again and I won't look anyplace else - I will call Buzz first thing to find out when his condo is available.

5 stars means "Excellent" on VRBO, but Buzz's condo goes beyond the excellent rating--it deserves 6 stars. We've stayed at the Mahana before and enjoyed the location and surroundings greatly, so coming back was an easy choice. Choosing Buzz's condo wasn't difficult as we knew what to expect about the building and the pictures of Buzz's place looked very good. But if you haven't been to the Mahana, the pictures never tell the whole story. The totally unobstructed views with the floor-to-ceiling windows--even the lanai "railing" is transparent--is breathtaking: it's that so-called "million-dollar" view. Buzz has done a great job in decorating the condo. It is roomy and homey and has all the amenities that one hopes for--large flat-screen tv in living area and bedroom, sound systems for the iPhone or iPod as well, binoculars for whale watching (we were too early this season), water toys, snorkel gear, books, games, and such. But unlike most condos, Buzz goes further and provides those additional little "necessities" such as bath tissue, paper towels, batteries, light bulbs and all those niggling little things that need to be replaced when you're staying for an extended time (2 weeks in our case). We've owned a rental condo on the Texas gulf coast for 20 years & know how not having those kind of things available can cause a vacation to be a little less enjoyable for a guest. Buzz has thought of everything. And if he hasn't, call him and he'll take care of it. The beach is accessible from in front of the condo and is great for walking. The boardwalk behind the Mahana meanders past some great resorts all the way down to Whaler's Village mall. It takes about an hour. There are tons of eating places within walking distance: Duke's Beach House (the Best!), Pizza Paradiso, Java Jazz, Soup Nutz. A little further away is CJ's Deli and down at Whaler's, the Hula Grill. You can't go wrong with them. We had a snafu with the door code the 1st night and crashed at our son's ohana in Pukalani that night (we stayed there the 2 weeks before--nice having a kid & his family on the island!), but Buzz made it up to us. I can totally recommend Buzz and his condo. You'll love this place! We did. If this is a 1st trip to Maui, get the "Maui Revealed" app for your iPhone/iPad. It'll cost you the same as the printed version but is by far the best guide to the island. Buzz has the printed copy (4th ed--current is 5th ed) in condo, but the app is a fantastic well-done resource.

This condo was perfect for us - plenty of room and one wall is floor to ceiling mirrors, so no matter where you look, you see ocean, (and in January, lots of whales). It really does look like the pictures. Comfortable king-size bed, also with floor to ceiling bedroom windows looking out to the ocean . You couldn't get much closer to the water without being in it. The full kitchen has everything needed for making your own meals, and the location is convenient both to restaurants like Dukes, as well as little strip mall spots with decent lunches and breakfasts, and a nearby Times grocery. Location at the north end of the Kaanapali beach walk makes it easy to stroll as far as you feel like, stopping for drinks along the way. Little touches like soft Kleenex and toilet paper, lots of fluffy towels, laundry detergent, spices and condiments, etc. were welcome extras. And we found the chairs on the lanai super comfortable. The ocean-front pool and hot tub in the property were well maintained, with lots of chairs, and there's a little coffee/breakfast/lunch bar next to the pool. Buzz was very helpful in giving directions, making suggestions of places to eat. He had been there the week before us and even left fresh milk, eggs and bread in the fridge. We will be back!

Because it must remain the best kept secret!!!! What a lovely condo. It's modern but still retains lots of that Hawaiian charm. The view is just as advertised with palm trees, beach and waves. We even saw a few turtles swimming by. Everything inside is gorgeous. From the river rock shower (my feet misses them) to the huge kitchen to the little blue spinning chairs. We sat and watched sun rise, sun set, stars, waves, rainbows. The location could not be beat. It's walking distance to everything. The Times supermarket that's open til 2AM, Duke's around the corner for happy hour, great running via Beach Walk and Lower Honoapiilani, superb coffee at Bad Ass coffee across the street from Honokowai Beach Park, snorkel at the Black Rock. You can even walk to Whaler's Village from here. It was so nice, on the last day of our stay, we were lucky enough to meet Buzz in person and book it for the same time next year.

Just got back from Maui and I was very impressed and happy with Buzz's rental! The view is five stars (out of 5) and everything inside the home is top notch... The rental is well maintained and the kitchen and bathroom were perfect. All of the amenities were excellent quality (towels, plates etc.) and we loved all the extras on the lanai especially the beach chairs. The unit is walking distance to some fun restaurants (Java Jazz and Slappy Cakes) and a supermarket is nearby as well. You couldn't get any closer to the water than from this condo! Being on the third floor was also perfect... Buzz is also easily reachable which is nice as well!! I hope to come back...

Not sure if I can put in to words just how much mom & I enjoyed this beautiful condo. I took mom for her 85th birthday. It was a very relaxed vacation for us. We didn't do any excursions this time, but we really didn't need any. We saw a large pod of dolphins, sea turtles and whales, all from the lanai of our condo! One morning, while I was having coffee, I was watching a mother and calf whale through the binoculars which I found in the drawer, when in the distance a large whale breached about 5 or 6 times! It was awesome!!!! I also swam with a turtle while snorkeling in front of the building. The condo is perfect. The wall to wall glass with a view of nothing but palm trees, beach and ocean is awe-striking! And the floor is great because it's low enough to see the wildlife, but high enough to give privacy. There's a nearby grocery store, shops, and a great coffee house. And, just a short walk from Dukes. We appreciated all the "extras" like barbecue sauce and condiments, coffee filters and champagne glasses. We used a little and left a little. And, the beach chairs and toys were very handy. We enjoyed throwing some steaks on the grill and having our own "Sunset Dinner". Mostly we enjoyed just sitting on the lanai and watching the waves roll in. At night they would lull me to sleep. Another big plus for us was how easy it is to get around the Mahana. Much better than having to traverse a large resort. Lastly, Buzz is easy to work with, and a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the island. Maui is truly paradise, and Mahana is the perfect place to call home while there!

Had another great two weeks at the Mahana. This unit is is even better than described. Beautiful location, excellent views from the lanai, comfortable furniture. My granddaughters, age 10 and 12, found the hide-a-bed very comfortable. Lots of towels, two or three boogie boards, beach toys and beach chairs. Lots of condiments left by previous renters in the fridge and cupboards. The TVs are both first class. We had the pleasure of meeting Buzz one day for lunch in Lahaina. He is a true gentleman who can give you many helpful hints about places to eat and beaches to visit. We ate most of our dinners in the condo. The Barbecue set up is excellent and easy to use and surprisingly never busy. Lots of nice places nearby for lunch or happy hour. Times Grocery store is a five minute walk from the condo and the prices are very reasonable. Our favourite beaches were Airport Beach. Fleming Beach and Kapalua Bay. All excellent for children. We are greatly looking forward to a return visit.

The unit far exceeded our expectations. It was so difficult to come off the Lanai, so close to the water and always breath taking views. The unit is fully equipped with every thing from beach towels to hair dryers curling irons to all kitchen essentials. The bed room was comfortable. The pool area is meticulous and you can swim in the pool while watching the waves crash on the beach. There is so much to do in the area around the Mahana including cruises, snorkeling, shopping and excellent restaurants. We enjoyed an afternoon at Honalua bay watching the surfers on the huge waves. Absolute must see, Paia scenic out look. Most beautiful water in Maui, huge waves and lots of sea turtles. Downtown Lahina is quaint with great restaurants and shopping. My only complaint would be that the air conditioning was too cold in the unit and very difficult to keep the unit at a comfortable temperature day and night. This would not stop me from returning. I choked back tears as we drove away on our final day, we will be back!

Everything is exactly as described and pictured. You will not be disappointed if you select this condo. It is close to many excellent beaches, some just for playing in the surf and others for snorkelling. Boogie Boards, beach chairs and plenty of towels in the condo. Times grocery store has excellent selections and prices and is only an eight minute walk from the condo. If you take the boardwalk you can be to the Whalers Village Mall in 30 to 40 minutes.

I actually teared up when I walked in the door. The view is indescribable. It feels like you are on top of the water. We almost got used to seeing the whales every time we looked out the window or when we were sitting on the lanai. I addition to how spectacular the unit is to look at, it was fully stocked with all the things you hate running to the grocery store for as soon as you get in from a long trip; tide pods, dishwasher soap, every cleaning product imaginable, etc. The quality of the linens, towels, beach towels was top of the line. Beach chairs, boogie boards and snorkel sets are just sitting there waiting to be used. I can't say enough about this unit in fact we're already considering going back next year. We loved this place so much that we never ate at a restaurant all week! We wanted to spend as much time as possible either in the unit or at the pool and beach. The bbq set up by the pool is immaculate. It was a 5 min walk to the grocery store, too. Our rental car sat most of the week. I'd recommend 308 at the Mahana any day!

Arriving at Mahana 308 was exciting...from the minute we walked through the door, seeing the beautifully furnished living room, discovering the well equipped kitchen, and the fantastic bedroom...we knew this would be a great home for our vacation. The balcony overlooking the waves below, the sunsets, the gentle sea breezes...all combined to make this place a true resort like experience without the crowds, noise and general frenetic nature of the nearby resorts. Beautifully located close to everything, Mahana 308 is a joy to be in. I recommend everyone stay at Mahana 308. It was perfect.

My wife and I just spent 5 nights at Mahana 308 for our 10-year anniversary and everything about it was wonderful, from the property managers (Tori at MyPerfectStays was great throughout) to the property itself. We could not want anything more from the location. Not only is the Mahana right on the water but it is also right in the middle of Maui's west side without feeling as touristy or congested as Whaler's Village or Kapalua. There is a good grocery store right across the street, a great coffee shop a couple of blocks down (Bad Ass Coffee) etc. The unit itself was not what we saw in the pictures...it was better! The views were breathtaking, we saw whales and turtles daily along with gorgeous sunsets. The amenities provided were all we needed, including a coffee grinder and coffeemaker to enjoy delicious local coffee and snorkel gear to enjoy the wildlife in Kapalua Bay. There is no question that we would want to stay at Mahana 308 again when we return to Maui! For Maui first-timers like we were, the highlights from our stay included pastries from Leoda's and Maui Sugar Shop in Lahaina; food from 808Grindz, Da Kitchen, The Gazebo and Ronin2Sushi; appetizers and drinks at Maui Brewing Co; a massage from Mobile Massage Maui; and zip lining with Skyline Eco Adventures. This condo is exactly as the pictures show. We were very impressed with the condo, and the location in the complex of this unit. The only draw back is the mattress on the king bed being firmer than we preferred. The condo is located close to beaches, restaurants, shopping & entertainment.

This was our first stay at Unit 308 and it is truly was truly a 5 Star experience. The unit was everything as described with beautiful views plus the owner provided many extras like binoculars to watch sea life as well as snorkel and beach gear. The resort is in an ideal location with access to the boardwalk without the congestion of Kaanapali Blvd. and was with walking distance to shops and stores. Beach access was ideal. We thoroughly enjoyed our week.

This condo was exceptionally clean with a beautiful ocean view and had everything we needed, including a well- stocked kitchen, beach chairs, beach umbrella, etc. Our activities included a Lahaina luau, the incredible Road to Hana on a tour bus, a dinner cruise, and the Elvis impersonator show. We enjoyed them all. Of course, we loved the beautiful beaches and walked the boardwalk along the beach a few times. We had great lunches at Longhi's in Lahaina and did some shopping, too. We had a wonderful time and hope to book this wonderful condo again.
