Kapalua Golf Villa 23T 4&5 Description

Air Conditioning

This 1-bedroom, 2-bathroom villa features ocean and golf course views and can accommodate up to 4 guests. Enjoy the convenience of cooking meals in the fully equipped kitchen and relax in the spacious living room area featuring a Queen sleeper sofa, flat screen TV with cable, and free Wi-Fi. All new furnishings as of July 2024. The master bedroom has a comfortable King size bed (new as of July 2024), flat screen TV with cable and ensuite bath featuring a shower / tub combo. The master bedroom opens to the large lanai offering beautiful sunset views! In the guest bathroom, you will find a mosaic tile shower, sink, and your own washer and dryer. If you prefer chilled air to ocean breezes, this villa features central air conditioning.

The Kapalua Golf Villas offers guests 4 family-friendly pools and does not have resort or parking fees. The units will have stairs to climb either up or down to the front door and the complex does not have elevators. Staying in the prestigious neighborhood of Kapalua, you will enjoy being close to restaurants, tennis courts, two golf courses, the Golf Shop, the Tennis Shop, and beaches such as Kapalua Bay, Napili Bay, Oneloa, Honolua Bay, and more!

Positives: the location is great. It’s in a quiet and beautiful golf villa that is only a 20 minute drive to Lahaina. The place was nice and cozy, overlooking the ocean. Negatives: My major issue with this place is that the cleaning fee was $370 for a 12 day stay and no one ever came to clean the place during the whole time we were there. At the end of the trip, I asked the property management company why the costs were so high, and they told me because inside that “cleaning” fee is a non-refundable deposit in case of damages. When I told them I had taken good care of the place and that there were zero damages and that no one had mentioned this fee before, they said it didn’t matter and that was simply how they operated. It seems deceptive to hide such a fee, especially since I made the effort to be a good, respectful guest. When I brought this up, they told me they would send a follow up email and then hung up. I have yet to get any email almost a week later. Otherwise, one of the two showers had little to no water pressure and was unusable and the kitchen sink drains didn’t really work, often getting clogged even if there was nothing clogging it. Those two are fixable though, so I wouldn’t worry about it. Overall, I enjoyed my time there, I just simply was left with a bitter taste due to the excessive hidden fees and then poor communication once I addressed these issues.

Kapalua golf villa 23T 4&5 is very comfy, with a great location and lovely views, set amidst beautiful and lush landscapes. Did a lot of Whale watching from the lanai. (Whale watching boat trip was an extra bonanza)! We swam in the Kapalua beach and hiked the coastal trail, the golf course walkways (all at a walkable distance). The Kapalua Burger shack and Taverna are good close by restaurants. Condo kitchen is also well equipped - we could barbeque and cook home food if we felt like. We were a group of 4 adults. My parents are early risers, wanted to start using the kitchenette early, so chose the living room sofa cum bed- slept like babies! The condo has all amenities, 2 full bathrooms, 2 TVs, washer, dryer, dishwasher etc - a home away from home! Frolicked at the Napili and Kanapalli beaches too and then at sunset got some excercise in the residents' pools.Though it is an old apartment, it has been renovated and the rental is a steal! Best of all no steps to climb after a hard day of having fun - elders loved that! Maui is really the most beautiful and versatile island we have ever visited. Golfers, surfers, snorkelers, nature lovers paradise - loved the magical forest! Enjoyed Maui to the full and already dreaming of the next visit!

By Far The Best Vacation I've Had In 15 Years!

I use AirBnB on a regular basis. Hawaii is a tough place to find a secluded and quiet venue to relax. If you haven't stayed it is worth your time to stay and enjoy the view and quiet. This was by far the best vacation I've had in 15 years. The view is amazing and the location is ideal on the island. I HIGHLY recommend this place.

We love the Golf Villas and have stayed there 9 times, starting in 2010. Kapalua allows us to hike so many different trails, we can watch the whales, go to the beach, or hang out at the pool. It was a perfect, relaxing holiday! We are anxious to go back!

View is Wonderful

The accommodations are comfortable. If you want fancy and updated this place is not for you. The furnishings are simple, the kitchen is dated. The view is wonderful. We walked all over the resort from the villa. We stayed during the Sentry Golf Tournament, so prices were elevated beyond what the villa should rent for. The management was very responsive.

What we liked: The views. Dropdead gorgeous. Amongst the best in all the Golf Villas. The space: large lanai, very large rooms. The airflow: Cross breezes when the trades were blowing, air conditioning for when the sun was beating down. The Wi-Fi: it worked! The amenities provided by My Perfect Stay: dish detergent, liquid hand soap, laundry pods, bath soaps, shampoo, conditioner, paper towels, toilet paper. This management company was fabulous to work with. I would never hesitate to work with them again. Beach chairs and beach towels provided with the unit. Would we come back? Yes, in a heartbeat!

Kapalua Golf Villas never disappoint. The unit is a bit dated and amenities are at a minimum, but it is clean and has all that is really needed. The view is one of the best in the villas. Quite, well kept property. Surrounded by great restaurants and beaches, all within a short walk.

Very Responsive

My Perfect Stays management team was very responsive to any comments we made or questions we asked. The Kapalua Golf Villas unit 23T4/5 was a good location, very quiet, and ground level making bringing in suitcases easy. Parking is very close to unit. Pool access is a little bit of a hike downhill from the unit although it directly overlooks the pool. The unit could use some up-dating, but was comfortable for the two of us.

Awesome space!

Awesome space for upscale Beach shack, but don't expect a high end unit. Amazing location, nice campus, great customer service, and awesome space. Certainly some items that were lacking though. Faulty shower head, disconnected dryer vent, poorly patched wall, stains on carpet, broken range top etc. Tried to get repairs and poor communication made it not happen over our 8 day stay. Overall very happy though, great spot and for us the issues were fine. Highly recommend.

Excellent value and location!!

The location and value of this rental was awesome! Super close to the beach and lots of beach toys/chairs/cooler for us to use during our stay. The only downside was the sofa (Website hidden by Airbnb) was very loud and uncomfortable. We ended up buying a cheap air mattress to use instead. Additionally, the shower pressure of the common bathroom was extremely low, we all ended up using the master (which was (Website hidden by Airbnb) one point we thought the place was going to flood because we couldn’t get the water to shut off!). However, with this said, maintenance was very prompt, helpful, and kind! Would recommend this location.

We enjoyed our stay in 23T4,5. The property was as advertised, clean and well equipped. This is our 8th trip to Kapalua. We love this resort with beautiful beaches in walking distance. The view from the lanai is one we never tire of. Looking forward to next year.

Very Good!

The condo was fully stocked with everything you need to hit the ground running. Kitchen had everything! They even had a little cooler for the beach and chairs and pool noodles. There was plenty of detergent and dryer sheets for our entire two week stay. The view was simply gorgeous from the bedroom, livingroom and lanai. Very close to three of the four pools. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because the condo is a bit out dated and there was some peeling paint in many rooms. However, it was very clean. The price was very good and I hope the price stays that way. Would I stay there again? Yes! Im booking for next year already.

If you don't mind old carpet, furniture, and quite possibly the original paint - this is a good choice. The price is right & the location is spectacular !! The views are priceless, the grounds are perfectly manicured, and the Bay Course is a 10 minute walk. The pool is a 2 minute walk down the path. Merriman's & Kapalua beach are within walking distance too. Then down by the beach, you'll find the Kapalua Trail - it's a very nice walk. The owner of this unit takes no pride in it. So much could be done to it, in regards to upgrades, to make it a spectacular property. The bed is not comfortable, and the pull out couch is horrible....unless you have a couple small children who want to use it. There is a nice patio but it has the wrong furniture (needs to be taller - you can't see anything if you are sitting) But I give it a "4 star" because of the location & price. Would I stay here again ? Probably not. I would however try to stay in a different unit here in the Kapalua Golf Villas. And I'd go thru MyPerfectStays again, they were very easy to work with. I found this on VRBO, and MyPerfectStays is the management company.

We are a local management company and have a wide variety of Maui properties to choose from. If price is most important, a condo like this one might be what you are looking for. If you want better views and an updated gourmet kitchen, we have many options. We agree, this condo's location to the nearby beaches, restaurants, walking trails and more is fabulous! And the price is right for the condo, it is a huge value because it is not remodeled and the furnishings are not brand new. If you do come back to Maui, we encourage you to call us directly so that we can help find the perfect condo, for the perfect guest at the perfect price, mahalo!

Spacious and Good Location on West Maui

Very spacious and quiet space to base our stay on west Maui. Clean and stocked with kitchen basics, laundry detergent and great beach basics like chairs, umbrella and big towels. Great value for this part of Maui and near beaches, restaurants and lots of activities.
