This was our 3rd trip to Maui but first time staying in Kahana (previously stayed in Lahaina town, and Kihei, and I would definitely return here again! Kahana Reef is a nice, small, well maintained and quiet condo complex with views that are hard to beat! it was important to me that I could see and HEAR the ocean and I got exactly that! I loved that there was a small beachy like area where we could walk, many sea turtles by the sea wall, and wind surfers most mornings. It was a short drive to any of the places we wanted to visit or eat at.
the condo itself was very well equipped and I cannot think of anything I wish we had that wasn't there - comfortable king bed, all the utensils and small appliances we would need, basic essentials like oils, seasonings, coffee filters, etc. Plus, good snorkel equipment, beach chairs, towels, cooler. Oh, and a cupboard of unopened and shelf stable items that previous guests left - a couple of things that came in handy for us.
My Perfect Stays had a lovely welcoming gift for us and stayed in periodic contact (via email/text) to ensure that all met with our approval and letting us know they were there to help if needed anything. I appreciated knowing that even though I never needed them for anything.
the only thing I guess I do wish was there was a guest book for guests to leave a note of gratitude to the owners. I always enjoy giving owners my feedback and just a tidbit of our vacation memories at their lovely condo.
I will definitely use My Perfect Stays for any future trips to Maui. They are a great mgmt company and I can see why so many condo owners use them.

This was my first trip to Hawaii with my wife and daughter. All I can say is My Perfect Stays was amazing! From the very start, they made it such an easy process. Great communication, very attentive, and had everything we needed! The space is gorgeous, much better than expected! And that balcony view, you can’t get sick of! We loved our whole trip and the fact that this place felt like home, made it so much better! We will definitely come back and recommend to everyone we know!

We visited in the cooler season (February) and the temperature was perfect for us. Loved the balcony. Whales and turtles everywhere. We were able to snorkel right there at the reef. Would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed in several Kahana Reef units and this has been our favorite. The lanai nearly hangs out over the ocean and the views of Moloka'i and Lana'i are amazing. The unit is in great shape and the little extras like the louvred transom over the bedroom door make it paradise.

The property was just as advertised and we enjoyed our time. We had everything we needed and appreciated the morning coffee on the lanai watching whales, dolphins and turtles. Not much access directly from the complex to a beach but was a short drive to beaches and restaurants. The living room couch could be updated but other than that - no criticism.

Our unit was absolutely perfect. It was beautifully furnished and decorated. What really surprised us in a good way was how well the unit was stocked. There was even a blow dryer and curling iron (which I wished I knew before I packed). The location of the unit at Kahana Reef was perfect. Was amazing views from the lanai, close to the beach and felt more private as it’s toward the end of the complex. Whale watching from the lanai was amazing as well.

We loved staying at this apartment in Kahana Reef. It had an unobstructed view to the ocean, cute beach on the side & not to mention no. of times we saw rainbows from the patio while sipping coffee. This apartment does not have AC, however, please note that since we were visiting early December we did not need one, the temperature would go down in the night & the bedrooms had a window with mosquito net which helped in keeping the ventilation on & providing great atmosphere in the room. MyPerfectStays did a great job of keeping in touch while we stayed at the property. They provided an additional floor fan on request. The owner made sure we had the basic things used for cooking like salt/pepper/oil/sugar/coffee/coffeefilters. All the cookware you would need with additional thermos that came handy during our early morning trip to the mountains. The place was clean when we reached, also the cleaning lady arrived in time on the day we checked-out. They provided enough towels, basic toiletries for the stay. Additionally, the owner had provided with basic beach items for 2 adults like chair, mat, towels so you don't have to carry one. Hope this review helps people make a decision. Thank you myperfect stay & the owners to make our stay delightful.

It is a beautiful condo. The location is great, the view is unbeatable. There’s no AC, which is okay at night with windows open and fans on. It gets a little sticky during the afternoon. A portable AC would’ve been great. The bed is pretty comfortable and clean. Will definitely come back.

The view was top notch. You can’t beat an ocean front. We saw turtles swimming around from our balcony! The location was close to all of our excursions. There was a little farmer’s market just like half a mile down the road which was awesome for when we made breakfast. We also had a gas station just around the corner. The check in and check out was effortless and we felt so at home. The shower facilities were great, clean, sanitary. We totally will Be using this Place again. It helped make our trip memorable and comfortable.

The location was beautiful! Condo was super clean. Kitchen was well stocked. Amazing view. Small beach when tide was low, but still able to walk in the ocean from the stairs when the tide was high. Walking distance to multiple other beaches. Sea turtles swimming by the condo daily. Well stocked with towels, beach towels and chairs. No AC but manageable with the fans, screen doors lock so you can sleep with the doors open. Roku TV’s were a nice touch, although they didn’t get much use during our stay. I will definitely be booking here again!

The location was perfect! Not too busy and close to quite a few amenities. The view was unbelievable with lots of sea turtle sightings and the most beautiful sunsets. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The place was very clean. Lots of towels and beach towels. Check in/out instructions were communicated well, as well as frequent communication making sure our trip was going well and to see if we had any questions. Roku TV’s were a plus. The teenagers slept on the pull out bed, it was squeaky but they said it was comfortable. No AC, but multiple fans and we slept with the doors open as the screen doors both locked. When the tide was low, there is a beautiful beach, but even when the water is high, you can walk down the stairs into the ocean.

This is the 3rd time I have stayed at Kahuna Reef. I love sitting on the balcony watching for turtles! The location is so close to some great snorkeling beaches and restaurants. Finally, the condo unit is very quiet. My only complaint was I wished the unit had air conditioning but I knew it didn’t going in. There are nice ceiling fans that worked well and the breeze off the water was nice too. Only had one small issue with the ice maker during our stay and the Property Manager sent a repair man over that same day! I really enjoyed my stay at Kahana Reef and would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Very nice place clean and great view. It was hot and air conditioning would’ve been great, but had a nice fan. It is a nice place for older couples we had to teenagers and it wasn’t the best place for teens.

Clean, up to date condo is right on the ocean. We can only see the water from inside the condo! Sunsets here are spectacular! There is a beach here, and we’re other great beaches are a short drive away. Great place!!!

I love this condo! The kitchen was well stocked. We cooked there most meals and had all the things we needed. The lanai is perfect with an amazing view. The beach is down to the right and great sand. Conveniently located between Lahaina and Kapalua. I would definitely stay again!

Perfect view, very close to the water. Probably the best location within this complex. Pretty close quarters for two adults. Lanai was smaller than expected and could use new furniture. Kitchen and bathroom were newly remodeled but bathroom is small, but the unit is small so not much you can do about it. The decor is attractive but the sleeper sofa was pretty uncomfortable to sit on. Excellent laundry facilities for the complex. The pool is small. Nice elevators.

Our family enjoyed watching the whales from the deck the most. The beach just next to us was great. Mostly calm waves with the reef. We didn't spend a ton of time in the condo. It was mostly just for sleeping. We loved the convenient location for beach, restaurant and grocery access. The Chinese restaurant across the street was super tasty too!

Such a beautiful Airbnb! Ocean front view! And during our stay, we were able to see whales from the balcony. We even saw a sea turtle swim by one morning. We woke up to the sounds of the waves every morning, we personally loved that. The place was clean. They even gave us coupons for local restaurants and shops and provided us with their personal recommendations. They also had beach chairs for our beach days! Although we didn’t use the kitchen, it looked like they had everything you could need in there. Easy check in and check out. Highly recommend!

Beautiful hidden spot with a gorgeous view of the ocean from the patio and living room! Great stay for a couple or a party of two. During our stay we had the best view of the oceanfront, sunset at golden hour and saw sea turtles! The room is right next to the staircase and it is walking distance to the elevator. Ambience (Rating 5/5): Homey feel with a touch of beachy vibe. You can hear the waves from the room; it makes you feel like you are one with the ocean. Comfortable furniture, very clean linens and modern tv. Temperature (5/5): Visiting in early January 2022 and it was not too hot and not too cold. The fans in the living room and bedroom were perfect to keep the area cool. And leaving the door to the patio keeps the area cool too. Parking (Rating: 4/5): Abundant amount of parking but parking slots can get a little tight. We rented a compact car and when getting in and out of our parking spots were a little tight. The issue that we had was that we were missing a parking pass. We had to request for a parking pass because there was a sign that Kahana Reef would tow vehicles without a parking pass. Customer Service (Rating 5/5): On the day of arrival, they responded within the hour. An auntie brought our parking pass within an hour. Overall experience (Rating 5/5), If there were to be an improvements to be made: 1.The missing parking pass when we got there (but it did get resolved within the hour) 2.The bedroom window is in close proximity of the staircase so you can hear people in the staircase, parking lot and birds chirping in the morning Would we recommend? Absolutely! Location is closely the tourist spots like Whalers Village for shopping, Kapalua Coastal Trail and watching distance from the ocean.

This was a very nice property. It was well stocked with an amazing view. The little beach adjacent to it provided easy access to the water and it was great to have beach chairs provided. The only negative was the bed. The mattress was worn out and very loud with every movement.

Beautiful location. The private swimming beach is steps away, and was such a wonderful experience. The view is unbeatable, the condo was clean and lovely, communication was great! Was planning to some some laundry while there and for some reason thought a washer and dryer was in the condo itself, but turns out it was a community laundry facility, which is totally fine, as it was just really nice to be able to do laundry at all!! Everything was great, some nights it was a bit hot, but all of the fans helped a lot. The only downside and this might be nit-picky, but the bed itself was a bit uncomfortable. The bedframe was pretty creaky and always felt like we might break it at any moment, so very very very slowly moved in and out of the bed. That's the only complaint though, and honestly, in retrospect, not even a huge concern as the Pros of the place way out-weight that inconvenience.

Fantastic location for a stay on the West side of Maui. Right over the water, so beautiful! It was pleasant with the amount of fans in the unit even with no A/C. Parking was always easy with the lot being pretty big. Heads up if you’re thinking of using the pool, it was completely booked for our stay there, but the beach is just a short walk! You can’t walk directly on to the beach from the sea wall due to the tide unfortunately, but the walk from the road is only 5mins!

Easy access, great communication with management company. They left us a welcome package. All the things you need are there. Updated shower and kitchen. Nice decor. NO A/C which is an sue during the day when it's humid. Although at night you don't need it. The fans are enough and when you leave the patio open you can hear the ocean get the breeze. The pool is subpar no chairs to set in have o bring your own. But the VIEW is undescribable at night...in its self is worth it especially during whale season. The bed needs to be updated. It's okay but everytime you move the frame sounds like it's gonna break and the mattress is indented. All and all I'd rent again. Thank you 😊

My husband and I came to Maui to celebrate our Babymoon. Our condo was wonderful. Great location and views. We cooked in most nights and enjoyed the quiet complex. Close drive to Napili Bay and walking distance to Maui Brewing Company. Be aware the unit do NOT have AC. They have two fans in the bedroom to keep cool, which wasn't a problem for us, but wanted to note it for other visitors who are thinking of staying.

My husband and I really enjoyed our get vacation at this oceanfront, nicely updated unit. The bed was comfortable and the unit had everything we needed (towels, toiletries, beach chairs). Property management was extremely responsive to a wifi issue and they showed up the same day to swap out the old equipment for new. The views from the Lanai were picturesque and the unit is within close proximity to all that you could want or need. We will definitely be booking again in the near future!

Located in Kahana Reef , this place was more than perfect. The airbnb looks to be fully renovated, full kitchen, top notch big bathroom, wifi, tv and AN AMAZING Lanai which opens to the ocean. There is a smaller beach right on the bottom floor which we went to a few times to avoid the crowd. From the Lanai we saw HUGH sea turtles daily and also even saw a Monk Seal! Parking/Access: There is a full parking lot with elevators to get to the 3rd floor unit. Check in: Easy check in with a door code Privacy: we go to Maui yearly and of all the hotels and airbnbs this is one of the best. Much more privacy than hotels. During the mornings people are running on the beach and also on the street. I was able to fit in my daily 2 mile run safely. What is around? Only 10 minutes from Lahaina Town and Front street where all the restaurants are. 1min from a Shell Gas Station and some smaller restaurants also. We will be back!

Everything was great. The view was unbelievable. It's a quiet location which we liked. The only exception was on New Years Eve the locals next door we're setting off massive bombs and throwing fireworks into the water sadly. The beach isn't much of a beach and it more or less vanishes at high tide but that's ok. There's plenty of great beaches nearby.

This is a clean condo with a helpful management company that nicely followed up on my initial emails where I was mistaken about the amenities. The view of the ocean is spectacular, and we were treated to a number of fantastic sunsets from the balcony. We spent most of the time out of the condo, either at the beach (Napili, down the road about a mile was our favorite beach, with Slaughterhouse, a few miles up the road, a close second). Our only minor issue with the condo is the lack of air conditioning, which made sleeping sticky and hot, even with all of the fans blowing. Maybe it happened to be hotter than normal, but we didn't realize that it was going to be so warm at night. Our other concern was the ongoing construction (we did not read the fine print that it would be happening), but it didn't affect our stay, though it did get loud in the mornings before we headed to the beach). Overall, though, this is a great condo and we had a relaxing and rejuvenating stay.”

This property has a beautiful breathtaking Ocean view, perfect ocean breeze, so much you can almost taste the salt water. With that said, since you are on the water, no air conditioning... windows and slider are always open. We had an unforeseen situation during our stay, one of the legs on the foot of the bed bent and the bed frame literally broke- due to rust! Luckily is happened on our last night, and were bed-less for just one night (slept on the couch). The property management office was closed, so we left a message and had to contacted them again the next morning after 9, when they opened. All in all, we had a perfect visit to Maui & we loved the space.

Maui Magic!! Our 4 night stay at Kahana Reef, Unit 321, was just perfect! The condo is literally right on the ocean, and the unit is in the section closest to the water! Pretty amazing to fall asleep to the sound of the waves crashing in! MyPerfectStays had lots of nice little touches in the unit which were much appreciated.
